ya it does, but you need to type it like Tristhan has shown, with pause at the front.

Your pause needs to have enough time for the spell to cast, and for the global cooldown that follows. The entire line gets executed at once, so as it starts casting the spell it will also start the timer. Don't forget to add a little extra for lag, so 40 would be like 42.

Most ive used for a macro really has been
For Melee's
/assist TANK
/delay 5s
/Stick
/delay 5s
/attack on
or
/Assist tank
/delay 5s
/pet attack
/delay 5s
/cast gem 1 ( usualy nuke)

But i havnt set any up for this server yet , But since im starting box a few more
I really should set some up
or even learn this eqbc stuff lol

For my Wizard I use the following:

/pause 2, /bct Wyreath //target ID ${Target.ID}
/bct Wyreath //casting "Draught of Fire" gem1 -maxrtries|3 -targetid|${Target.ID} -kill

This will nuke my target until it's dead and will try to recast 3 times (in case of fizzles). It's a PITA to rename everytime (because my Wiz is not 70 and learning new spells all the time ) but it really makes it easy. Pull, use macro and don't have to worry about it.

There isn't a write up in "basic" really as the use of eqbc is pretty easy itself, but there's a fairly easy to understand post here.

With MQ2 enabled, I cannot see people's guild names.

I've tried using /showname all, I've tried unloading individual plug-ins one at a time and seeing if one brings them back. No dice

Any ideas?

This fits under the "I can't see someone's title" bug. Should show everything with tita builds as the mq2main.dll file was actually compiled for that client specifically. Fixing this issue is a pain if you don't have a coding backround. If memory serves, there was a thread on mqemu about this problem, however, and maud said something about fixing it in one of the client builds.

I wish I could help you with this, but I don't have the time to compile a fix for you. Best I can offer is to go search around mqemu forums and see if there's a thread on it.

I use a build from MQEmulator, SoD / Classic and I can see guild names.

I had to enable MQ2melee which wasn't enabled by default, otherwise no problem.

Melkor... you use the EQEmulator build.. Silly Dark Lord...

It's something local - works for me fine and we run the same setup. It shall be figured out!

I've been messing with MQ2 for a little while now and I've decided to add a Ranger to my squad. My main goal is to get him to engage the mob at bow range but I'm having issues getting that configured. I've been able to get him to engage with a bow if he is further than the stick range but if he is next to the mob when the macro is engaged, he will just stand there.

I'm currently using this to engage the ranger.

My goal is to have him always go to a ranged position and autofire, regardless of his location when the macro is pressed.
