HI Guys,
Looking for some ideas on how to resolve some melee issues I've been having.
Ideally, i would like melee to stand at the max range they can to hit things, so perma-rooted mobs are easier to manage by me standing closer.
I've tried things like /Stick 90% which is meant to be sticking at 90% of their melee range, but then i discovered a mobs bigger melee range might take chars outside of their own melee range.
A mob with a melee range of 50 might put my chars at 45 which is way outside their own range, so they dont attack.
I found a chars melee range is 20, so i started doing /stick 15 just to prevent them all nudging each other outside and missing out on rounds.
Now I'm on Zi'Thuuli or however its spelled and really struggling with the dps to kill the gargoyles... except.. i just found all my guys arent attacking. Apparently the gargoyle's own hit box is less than 15 so the melee are just standing there out of range. I'll have to shrink the /stick again which will lead to a big bundle of chars being super close even when they dont need to. I dont want multiple buttons nor to keep changing it.
So my question is, how do you guys handle melee character distances? Do you just /stick and leave it at that? Or is there another command that will move a character (similar to 90%) to the max char+mob range that allows them to still hit?
Thanks
