Notice DI triggering right before the kill. Ow. I thought I was on top of those statues but I guess I got too excited in the last few percents and forgot to click. This was the third attempt, she was pretty dang hard.

I had no problem boxing everything up to Phara Dar, but I was also geared through a guild for most of that. And my tank (Rude, SK) had the donor shield which is super awesome for the DT'ing golems. Phara Dar, however, took me FOREVER to kill. I must've wiped over 25 times on her before I got her down. That's AFTER figuring out the exact nature of clicking her statues. Such a brutal fight, at least for me. Congrats!

Have fun in DSK, my friend Vaion was a sadistic bastard when engineering some of those fights Redfang is a bottleneck for everyone. And Xeru is HECTIC.

Clicking her statues??
Damn! I've tried her 4 or 5 times so far and each time got down to about 40% HP, taking out the adds as they spawn, and then i get 1 rounded taking multiple hits at large damage that seem to bypass all def AAs.
I figured it was a DPS check on a timer... guess not.. will have to look into this.

might be a good time to turn on audio on at least one of your characters or develop a nervous twitch to click a statue every few seconds

And..... my first Xeru kill

That was a rush. My DPS is just baaarely enough to kill Xeru, but I stuck it out and after 5 battle rezzes and waiting on mana etc etc, I finally did it. This was my 4th attempt, but I spent several weeks preparing for the encounter. It's been a long road.
