Bastian of Thunder ------ This CloseSo Bastian of Thunder came out today, and my little monk feet were tingling for some action. Little did I know it would consume a good portion of my night. I am very happy to got as far as I did and found a couple decent bugs which I reported to Jericho as he was online and I will make some note of them here.
To start off, yes I got to the Big Man himself
But me and my little buddy could not pull it off tonight. Seeing how I did not have total control over my Discs as they were not working, I still say I could have had him
Most certainly a rematch is in the near future when my Discs work...
So lets get the ball rolling with the first pics, from the first person to step into the bowls of the Bastian, solo and with my little buddy (Read: Cleric Bot)

The first Bug...

looking forward" to doing it all again. Yes thats right folks, you think that first key is the end, WELL ITS NOT
So I do the four towers and get my second key, and what do you know it doesnt work
A quick throw of the keyboard across the room and against the wall; plugging in a new keyboard I was off to find a GM. The ever so helpful Jericho came to the rescue, after a little digging he informed me that the door had no key assigned to it. Bug 1 down
I would also like to point out that mobs in the towers and before both have chance to drop parts for both keys. If this was intended or not, as on live they were segregated.

Telling you to come closer and hail him. Well you do and BOOM he whisks you away to the next part without warning. I learned my lesson after the first boss I killed and never got a chance to loot him

I should start by mentioning that he was not spawned and Jericho had to spawn him for me, while I was taking a picture next thing you know he was on top of me.
He does not hit that hard, but then the adds come. From Everywhere from every corner. They come and they come and they come and they come, I cant kill them fast enough and I die. Jericho was nice enough to port me back for another try, so I casually run down the stairs again and here comes Jericho with 50 mobs on his ass, DEAD
Okay how about another go
After rebuffing and repositioning I give him another chance. I am doing better then I was the first time. But the adds, wont stop. I wont say I couldnt solo him because of the Discs being broken, so I will just say I was very close. I would tell you the exact stats but then I couldnt use the word close
Nice little zone, and I wish I had a good evo tank with me then it would not have been a problem. Good luck keying people, the gear is decent and a lot of fun for the level range...
Edit : Oh Yeah, as soon as I finished this the server crashed and has been done ever since
. In all its awesome human glory, was a nice fun fight. I got myself a coth orb from Lady M today, so naturally I had to be put to work to run the gauntlet down into the depths of Sleepers Tomb, while everybody else just relaxed and drank lemonade at the entrance 
.. I guess I have to step up my game and do SSRA runs to make up for it. Oh great times we had.... The Chardok runs seem to be very popular still. As for my 1.5 runs I have not seen the mobs up in 2 weeks...
