Extra poll - Exp rate

THF custom content is pretty huge now, and with ChaosSlayer's upcoming new solo progression line from 1 up to lvl 70, it's considered to be complet (this doesn't mean we'll stop deving new content at all, they'll be past 70 tho). We really would like to offer a lot for the pre lvl 70 players too and we would like everyone to not just fly by the content what we offer but actually to enjoy it at every lvl range.. so. please post your opition, what do you think about the oprion to set exp rate back to 1x and AA exp to 2x.
This is an important topic and need good feedback to decide. For now, it is just a poll for further considerations tho.

Im the newb who said maybe, but the reason for this is all i know is on live it takes for ever to lvl on live, is 1x=live xp?(at the time of the titanium client)

If so i think maybe a 2x xp and a 2x or even 3x aa sounds better to me personally.

Also, don't forget that 1x exp rate is nothing like on live. We have no downtime here, you can keep exping without the need of medding for mana, ect..

Given the amount of content available It would of been nice to actually use it instead of plow through like i did. I likely missed several quests, fancy items in the process. I've Also found that servers where you have to work to achieve stuff the playerbase tends to stick around longer because of the work they have put in.

Yes Lillu brings a valid point - the SPEED of progression is not just based on what XP its set to. Its equally affected by how hard the mobs are to kill and how much downtime you take between kills and on live these factors were HUGE.

I have run a test server where mobs difficulty was adjusted to a point that running with 0.25 Xp (yes 1/4 of live!) I was leveling 2x faster than on live.

I'd love to see the harder zones with higher exp and easier zones with less. That really allows for multiple types of people to play on this server. I personally like a challenge when im in a group. PoV has become a joke (I know this doesn't happen for everyone, gear and aa's are making it this way for me) and PoFire is near my reach but not quite yet without a group (Which I like!). I'd like to even see 3 or 4 "tiers" so to speak of "Group'able" zones... I know that's a lot of work! So someone who is new could zone to the first 70+ group zone, someone with tier 1 gear could do tier 1... etc... I think that would keep a lot of people happy for a long time, not to mention the flexability for those who are geared well.

Just an idea :)

I voted hard high xp rate zones easy low xp rate zones. I can't help but fear how bad the 50-60 grind will be if this gets changed though...it's already bad at 3x XP. If you had a 4th option, 2x normal/AAXP then I wouldve chosen that instead...

Problem there is that hard vs easy is not something that can be easily defined. When Bresh gets back, we're planning to do all Ssra named with 4 people so we consider that easy, but then again I'm sure the guys in Help Desk a week ago wouldn't agree ... not that you'd say it's hard, but surely not easy. Same issue with Chardok, I can duo anything in there, but I remember a time when it was sure death.

Not saying it's a bad thing, but asking the question, how do you define what is easy or hard?

Personally, I just level Koeril to 53 in a matter of only 2 days completely solo and no help from anyone. I estimate I could hit 70 in 4 days which to me seems WAY too fast considering I only played him part time.

Voted to reduce it.

I'm torn on this one. I have a ton of fun exploring areas and finding the quests and stuff that I missed the first time out, because I plowed Cialla through all the early stages on a levelling binge...but I'm going to lose what's left of my mind before I finish levelling up characters at the rate I am currently going.

Can we maybe split the difference? As in regular exp @ 1.5x?

And as for mob difficulty vs exp gain, I heartily despised Luclin mobs on Live because they had so much bloody health compared to whatever reward they had. I do NOT want to constantly one-shot nuke an exp-granting mob to death, yet I do want that mob to die the same day that I started smacking it around.
