What class needs the most attention

Just wondering since i spend a fair bit of time on rebalancing this morning, what do people believe what classes is the most behind the power curve?

In light of what? Solo play? Grouping? Raiding? Equipment? All of the above?

One thing to keep in mind, this is strictly my opinion, and this is based on the classes that I currently play, I have NO knowledge whatsoever as to what any of the pure melee classes may have issues with currently.

I chose Druid as the class that I feel needs the most love, next. I have a lvl 70 Druid and her heals are, of course, substandard when compared to Clerics, and the nukes are just sad when you compare the damage to other casters. Now I fully understand that Druids were never intended to be as powerful, nuke-wise, as a Wizard, nor were Druid heals meant to ever be as potent as a Cleric because Druids also have Snare, and DoTs and the almighty damage shields, but I feel that those DoTs could be pumped up, damage wise. Debuffs, to be honest, aren't all that shiny in the grand scope of things, so the Ro-line of spells has become somewhat useless....unless those debuffs figure into the greater scheme later on in the game here. As for damage-shields, a leather-wearing Druid really does NOT want to get hit very much by some of the mobs out there that could take your health in one or two hits, so that neat gift is tossed to the wayside.

Perhaps Dire Charm may be looked at, if it's available here? I know on Live DC for Druids is a laughable waste of AAs unless you want to live in PoStorms forever and ever, but even I get tired of that.

Oops, forgot something that I have been wishing for, for Druids here. A nice, expansive outdoor type of zone would be fantastic, for kiting, and maybe some quests. I know I can sound like a broken record, always whining about how I miss Blightfire Moor, but I realized that Blightfire Moor may not be an option...and please, NO Lake Rathe/Rathe Mountains.

Ok, getting off the soapbox.
I need a scorecard to keep track of all of my alts!!
Kymarrah/ Mierrie/ Cialla/ Dhaani/ Bellabee
and so very many more....

All ;)

Seriously, some classes work great on Raids but suck solo. I want all input to see where we stand. Or rather you players think where we or your particular class compares to Joe's Paladin.

Clerics still need a lot of help solo, but then again that is the nature of the class. If I didn't have Hans to do damage, I couldn't do half of what I do. They are very solid in raids/groups, however, fulfilling their role of prime healer well.

Rogues are fine over all, in my opinion.

Of all the classes I have played on this server to 70 (Rogue, Cleric, Ranger, Zerker, Chanter, and soon to be Necro), I would say Cleric needs the most work, but only in solo play and truly they aren't that bad as long as you are patient - just takes forever to smack something down even with PoFire staff (3k proc) and Puma and pet. In all honesty, I think other classes need more work than those listed above, I just have never played them and can not comment so I chose Cleric.

Without riposting what I have already posted in the Class Balancing thread, I believe that custom items shifted balance of power way more in favor of melees than casters.
While crap load of +mana power was added to casters, their DPS essentially remained the same as before. (If power of melee weapons at level 1 is now DOUBLE of what it was on LIVE at level 50 - perhaps casters should get a Double damage on their spells? =)
If I would be to upgrade casters, I would double their spell power, but left their original mana pools and mana regeneration the same - yes they would be running out of mna as they did before, but they would maintain the distinct difference with the melee classes, that melees dmg is small and free over long time, while caster dmg is huge, fast, but comes at a price.

Not talking about class raid performance and utilities, or just the high end game, my most concern if one can anyone enjoy one of the priest classes in casual play, using them as MAIN CHAR, not as a tag alone bot or box.

Priest classes have especially fallen behind from being something you would on your own as a main characters. My current attention is on the Druid atm, and I decided, rather than start looking at their spell individually, simply give them something NEW, EQ didn't had before- and I propose a full scale Pet line =)

With players approval - custom models coming soon, I would propose this pet to be Rogue by class, and use new Lynx graphics model to be truly unique in appearance, and give Druids a whole new edge, rather than- stand back and heal.

Quickly touching the Shamans, I would propose a line of Swarm Pets for them, where shaman would unleash a pack of Snakes on their enemies! =)

We're gonna hit Fennin tomorrow night, I'll have Loly do some parses. Last time he parsed at about 2k DPS tops I think, this was in ToV gear. Lots of changes have been made since then, so I'll report back with what he parses now so that everyone can see where wizards stand. I know wizzys aren't the only casters though : P

chose SK, but i would chose paladin equally to (also necro, mage, druid are just as needy)

however the ones i think are plenty strong and dont really need any attention would be your warriors, monks, rogues, beserkers and aside from bow damage rangers and shamans (esspecialy when they have ToV legs and 2.0 hehe). but then thats all in my opinion
