I have added some new commands (which will likely come out tomorrow). There is a struggle between introducing reasonable commands, and commands that just are not desired.

I'll adjust taunt better and possibly implement a command. #bot reportmana, changes to bot giveitem, and some other tweaks being worked. Some of the suggested commands would be equivalent to mq bots imo, and that is definitely not a desired direction.

Ideally, no commands or very few commands will be necessary. However, after some source corruption and extended time away, we're almost having to start over. So, for now, adding some features that are reasonable while merging with latest eqemu revision. Hopefully, a more permanent and pleasant solution will be available long-term.

Is it possible to get a:
#bot hold

command? similar to magician pet hold AA, so that we can avoid cleric bots melee'in and paladin / sk / warrior bots still attacking through enrage?

I'm not sure on the logistics of it but can you not just copy the magician pet hold AA script and put it into the bot command list?

This would definitely be a great addition to go in line with the new progression content if you included evil enrage mobs =op

Yeah, command could be implemented. It may be in the near future. But, again, band aid fixes are not really ideal unless it is to temporary eliminate major zone crash issues.

Ideally, it won't be necessary, but time is the issue at the moment more than anything.

I realize it seems like a band-aid fix when looking at the entire scope of the bot code most likely. From a user standpoint, I'm sure everyone that uses bot's quite often would really appreciate this command. I realize the focus is on LDoN, and you want to overhaul the Bot system itself, but once again from my standpoint I wouldn't consider it a band-aid fix.

This... I know all the casters will med, but I have a monk bot and he never sits to med no matter how low his health gets.

Also, I am not sure if the monk uses his skills such as Mend, but he never seems to heal so I dont think he does... would be nice if he did, would make things easier with a monk bot.

I've searched through the forums and maybe I've just not seen it, but is there a way to manually tell your cleric bot to cast a spell like the Temp line?
Like;
#bot Temp
#bot Virtue
or something like that? Seems like my bot will cast the spell the level she gets it but the next level she quits casting it and only buffs with what she just got like BoF or something silly like that.

Commands can not contain *&%*&%^&% characters but I love the idea. However priority is stability, only after I go back to bot and pet fixes/rewamp.

Keep good ideas coming - without drama and flame; I got no extra nerves for such.
