You care if I make a massive post here listing what I used to max tradeskills and approx time it took me? Do not want to hijack your thread or make another thread about the same topic.

Very nice write up you have here by the way.

Here are my personal experiences in leveling tradeskills for Personal Aura and PoFire combines.(07/11/11).

Notes to Tradeskill Guides:

Blacksmithing: Follow Wolfy's guide to about 106 then buy a ton of Air infused spring water for Rubicite Arrow Shaft combines. The combines don't require much vendor back and forth as items stack and it seems to be the most inexpensive combine possible. You will make money back as you sell the successfully combined shafts at a good rate. This will take you to 300.

I have found that leveling to 106 is best done in PoK then move on over to the Guild Hall. Farming Air Infused Spring Water and Solo Aura pieces in PoStorms was quick and easy.

Tailoring: Make Woven Mandrake until Trivial (66) then get your butt over to Cazic Thule to farm hides and Bloods. The mobs die quick, they drop alot of ingredients and there are plenty to kill. Be prepared for a long camp and make sure you have plenty of bag space.

PoK is the best zone for learning this skill.

Jewel crafting - You do not need this skill for Solo Aura - I havent found a real reason to do it except for receiving bad information. If you want the title then you can get to about 260 skill for ~5,000pp. Just follow the trivial chart.

Brewing: Very easy skill to learn - Go to the Guild Hall and buy Taelosian Tea and water flasks from the vendor and combine till' ya dont feel like it anymore. Combines are very inexpensive; 100 combines will cost you ~304pp and you will need like 1,000 combines to get to where you can do combines for PoF gear.

Most important piece of advice that I didnt see while trolling - Buy your AAs for Blacksmithing and Tailoring. This will make the cost of leveling the skill lower and reduce the chances of failure on Solo Aura combines.

Also - With the AAs you can do all combines for solo aura with high success rates after you hit 200. I stopped leveling after ~230 and never looked back.
Thanks for the memories.
