Augment CTD

When I place either the augmentation or my charm, filling the second slot in the bird bath, I crash to desktop. This happens every time. The is the first augment I have tried to install. Any suggestions?

Which augment and which charm?

Life Shard and Emblem of Diamond Crusade (yes, different slots) but it also happens with any of the Emblazoned Souls armor. It is happening when I drop the second item into the second slot after opening the bird bath. I put either the armor or charm into the first slot, then I try to drop the aug into the second slot and CTD at that moment. It happens every time.

Titanium version and I'm now at 51.

Anyone else experiencing issues putting life shard augment in items? I just tried with both titanium and SoD clients and had no issues.

Dragonfire, did you come from another server such as P1999 or Shards? I know they have custom client side files that could be causing the issue. Are you able to put any other augments in other items?

I created the character on THF. This is my first aug, so I have not tried with others. It is when I attempt to place the aug or the armor into the 2nd container slot that I CTD. I have not been able to get to the point of combining yet. This is when dropping the aug or the armor into the 2nd of the 2 container slots.

Are you running a fully clean version of Titanium/SoD without modded client-side files (other than the THF globalload and spellfiles)? You didn't exactly answer this question, so help us rule this out as a possibility, please.

This was a clean install of Titanium. Immediately after installation I logged onto the server select and THF was the first and only server I accessed. I followed the instructions from the Are You Ready NPC and downloaded the files. There have been no other modifications. I use live from another directory and I did not access Live from this installation.

im having the exact same problem. EXACTLY how he described it but only different items, did anyone ever get any resolution to this problem? thank you
