Naming question

If you create a character and then delete said character does the name get tied up in the system for awhile? I had a name the other day and deleted the character then went to re-make today and the name wasn't available. Name was Kegstand, been using that since eq originally opened just wanted to stick with the name.

Really wierd. I deleted the toon Kegstand but he is showing on the magelo link still. I am almost 100% positive it was my first account but ill browse the others I made in case i screwed up.

You might have eqemu and THF accounts with the same name resulting in some confusion? If the character shows in magelo, then it's a valid caharcter.

My first log in here was via the eqemu public would that possibly mean that my thf account is a duplicate? Apologies for the multitude of questions, very new to this server and eq emu.

Yes, that might be the case. Change your settings back to eqemumand log into your eqemu account. Also, make sure your password is not the same for both accounts. Same un/pw means you can only log into your THF account.
