Zoning and toons disappearing

I typically multibox 3 - 4 characters, and almost every time I zone at least one sometimes 2 or 3 are unable to see each other / their bar in group for other toons can't be clicked on.

My solution - I log the toons that can't be seen and when they come back in the zone I reinvite and they can be seen in group...

As you can imagine, this is not a very good solution, and has resulted in a great deal of frustration.

Has anyone else encountered this repetative problem / can anyone offer a solution? There are times that my toon will actually get booted completely out of the game (although that doesn't happen all that often).

Any help would be appreciated.

I find SOD client gave me much less disconnects. Also apart from my 2 main tanks all my other toons run minimum graphics, and minimum window size. I run 6 toons per 22" monitor with everything turned off. Its ugly but I'm only ever looking at my main warrior's screen.

Make sure you dont use a wireless connection, as wireless is just poor.

Thanks for the response i don't think my issues have anything to do with performance - I just bought a crazy powerful alienware desktop a few months back (although I am still trying to justify how much I spent ) so in game while boxing I don't experience lag or anything of the sort (typically).

My issue is that when I zone into a new zone (9 times out of 10) I will look down in my group window and one toon will see 2 of the others, while another might see none of the others, and the last might see one of the others... which makes all of the /assist commands, follow, coh, heals etc... unusable.

I am hoping that someone may have a solution to this, cause I would hate to have to uninstall everything (partly because I have no idea where the install disk is). I am also curious if anyone else has experienced something similar.

My guildies and I have experienced this many times. It seems to be random, but rare with us. We have a mix of different clients among us, and the toon that has disappeared is usually gone for everyone, no matter what clients they are on. It doesn't always happen to the same person...though one player has it happen fairly often in Karnor's...on another server.

So yes, I have seen this, though not often. And I don't see any correlation between clients.

We just zone the toon out and in again, or camp and come back, and it seems to fix the problem every time.
