WHAT am I doing wrong? new lvl 70.

I really dont get this server, I feel like im missing something because as a fresh 70 this server is impossible for me.

I'm running War/Cleric/bot Cleric/Ranger/Mage/Necro, and I get 3 shot in Kael with about 15k hitpoints on my warrior who is already IN Kael gear thanks to the help of someone in the zone letting me loot the mobs. I was told I need more AA (70 on warrior, 15 on rest of chars), but AA farming isnt much better.. AAs are coming extremely slow, like 5 a day max. Im resorting to killing green and blue mobs just so I can kill at a meaningful pace and not die every other pull.

My warrior threat blows, I bought new weaps in Bazaar that are like 30 dmg 20 delay, but now my Anger augs won't fit. My mage pulls agro instantly so Im using Char instead of the 10 or so better spell he can be casting.

My necro cant heal group because he doesnt own the good heal spell, just the scribed one upon dinging 70.

My ranger pulls threat too, but not as bad as he used to. I spam taunt on my warrior at all times.

And I hear about people soloing this content, so I must be doing something wrong.

Where have you been trying to AA?

Another good strategy is to farm sebilis/city of mist/etc for stones of sturdiness. More AC will definitely help you with tanking.

What are you doing when you're pulling in kael? Using any defensive discs? Just trying to get more info to help out as best as possible!

ive tried to AA in icewell, sebilis, kael, fungus grove.. just seems really slow. I was told a t8 mage pet would help things immensely so trying to buy that now.

Edit: and AC augs, I will go farm those.

I just acquired the t8 mage pet, so everything is going much better than earlier! My groups DPS increase by 500%, and Sosten and a few others have been generous in offering help. I think I will make it.

Fastest ive seen at least from my view is run LDON's very fast AA points..

As someone else mentioned get those AC augs first , in regards of safe and fast AA farm i suggest PoV/Seb(which have for a fresh 70 still some drops) or Tipt for just AA,at the end are 3 bosses that might give your other toons a upgrade unless they are in Kael gear too.

You will see huge returns from AC on this server. Let it always be your focus as a warrior.

To really stand any chance at the 70+ content you will 1st need to get as many AAs as possible. To take any hits you will want at least all of those defensive AAs. You wont be able to take many hits no matter what your AC without them. You will also need all the offensive AAs to help hold agro. Make sure you are getting spell casting subtlety on your casters to help with that as well. AAs should be your main focus after you get lvl 70. Most classes need around 1500 AAs. You can start the raid content with less but only 100 AAs wont cut it, try to get as much defensive and offensive ones and then get stats and resist caps. Once you have 300-500 things will be much easier and you can start to collect 70+ gear and augments which will be the focus for the rest of the game.

Also make sure you've trained at least 1 point in your tanking skills like parry, riposte etc. otherwise you won't be using them!
