THFDownloader Requirements

Hi,

it seems the THFDownloader-Executable is a .Net Framework 4.5 application. This Framework is included in Windows 8 (and 8.1).

Older Systems need to install the .Net Framework 4.5.

- Windows 7 SP1
- Windows Vista SP2


It will not work on

- Windows XP


The download-links for the manual-patching-way are removed.
Will the links come back for people who dont meet the requirements ?

If you're running Windows XP, please let us know since .NET 4.5.1 is not supported.

Sadly I use XP as well.
Any chance the manual links will come back as mentioned above?

I also use XP, and I would imagine that it is very very common.

A quick update on this:

We'll be creating and keeping an up to date .zip that includes all of the files. Vaion is compiling that now and will communicate when it's available. We'll also post instructions on how to do everything just to make sure nothing is missed

I have downloaded the most recent .net framework. But for some reason I get an error when it installs. Is there a way that the .net framework can be incorporated into the patcher so if others like myself have this problem, that they can still update and play.

Wish there was - the install varies from system to system which is why we can't. What error are you getting? Also, what OS / Service Pack are you currently running?
