Fastest way to level a char

Hi fellas, I'm sure a lot of you have lots of 70 toons running around by now. Would appreciate that you could share what would be the fastest way to level one character with/without help. Your thoughts are much appreciated.

Assuming your other characters are really well geared:

1-30: Get Ranger + Druid/Mage DS + Shaman donor buff and run from one end of paludal to the giant mushroom boss. Clear any remaining blue mobs in the general area, then one more clear of the mushroom room/area should get you to 30.

30-40: Head to City of Mist, same buffs and basically repeat the process. At some point (around 40 I think), this method starts to get dangerous.. so....

40-60: In any zone with a good ZEM (again I prefer COM), using a level 70 bard + their well geared cleric bot. The aim is to stack as many DS as possible on the cleric bot. Park bot at lower level char. Have the bard pull as many mobs as possible to the lower level char, and then start playing damage max shield songs. Mobs hit bard, cleric bot heals bard, mobs hit cleric, mobs hit damage shield. With the lower level character, cycle through the mobs and get one hit on each (low level AE spell works well).

60-70: Best way I've found is to have a level 70 dps clear povalor or tipt while the lower char is parked at zone.

Under the right conditions you can do 1-70 in sub 2 hours. I'm sure people have done it in sub-1

30 - 47 : pick your zone (City of Mist / Karnor's Castle / Old Guk / Oasis of Marr), get some cleric buff, a DS from a mage (still the 1k one) and run through the zone

47 : go to Paludal, manual zone to Shadow Haven and get in a group with some 70 (one of your toon or Nemen if he is there , or anyone else...) and watch your exp flying to 70.

Best time in Drachenkinder is 3 hours to 70 with the help of a necro donor geared.

Let me argue a little about this before you go Lillu. Why do you want to nerf it ? because people can zone in and get 70 fast ?

I mean, the explanation I gave here needs some pre conditions to work so that means it's not your first char that can have this kind of treatment. So letting players have a way to level their others chars faster than the first one doesn't sound so bad to me...

Also, according to jsre, there is another way to level to 70 in the same amount of time (seems less) than the method I described, so no big deal to me.

Can donor BP's be used at level 1? If so the time to level a pet class would be interesting.

Also the SK donor (1) seems to kill any XP mob up to and including icewell within one dot cycle, which means you can click a mob, move to next, click, move, click, move etc as long as you don't wind up with more than 24 following you then you're basically killing mobs as quickly as you can move to them (with some leadtime for the first mob to die from dot). So it would also be interesting to see how fast you can get to 70 with an SK using donor 1.0 and that technique.

Leveling fast is not an issue, the issue is entering a zone at level 1 that is not supposed to be accessible by a level 1. Zone level restrictions are in for a reason.
