Radiant Crystals

Hi fellas, Was looking thru wiki but didn't have any write up on DON quests etc, I'm trying to obtain radiant crystals for the expert armor set which cost 450 per piece, what would be the best way to obtain these radiant crystals at the moment? I know that shadow haven trash mobs drop them, any best way to get them beside buying from another players? Ur tots r much appreciated.

Hi there,

There is a mission in the Hidden Vale that gives a few crystals as a reward, but its not really designed for low geared toons....

Shadow Haven is your best bet to farm them, while doing your healing automaton quest + fordel gem aug. Evolving that aug will take a lot of kills, hence lots of crystals.

Players often sell them cheap too, so if SH is a bit hard for you still, then it might be better to farm some gems for plat, and just buy from players.

Side note: You will also need augs to put in the armor and they cost crystals too. I found its best to just get a few Radiant pieces of armor, and keep working on raid tier progression... You will no doubt be able to progress quicker and get better raid armor, than farming that many Radiant Crystals for a full set.

On this thought, what do you do with the radiant crystals that drop while doing the automaton quest? I have hundreds sitting in the bank, but I don't remember a command to combine them with the 15 or so I got from the automaton quest line.

As mentioned, I think I'm geared beyond this level of "stuff", but I like exploring the content, so knowing is fun.

On the UF client at least there is a button just above your plat that says "Reclaim". That should take the radiant crystals out of your bags and put them in the "Radiant Crystals" spot. To remove just click on them and they should appear on your cursor in stacks of 100 I believe. I tried to take a screenshot and post it but failed massively

I remember something like that from live, and I have the button, but when I have the crystals on my cursor, and press the button, nothing happens.

Thanks to all who have shared their radiant crystals with me especially Neowall and Snorks. It just shows how strong the community is in THF, one helping another whenever possible, it is by far one of the best around.

Try leaving them in your inventory. I know there were a few unresolved issues with reclaiming them but it should be working on Titanium and UF. I haven't logged into a SoF client in forever :/

Thanks, Vaion, but that didn't work either. I ended up just giving them away.
