I mean they aren't a t8 let class let but they do decent DPS and since the item itself has a focus when you summon it will have dark minion. The VP staff isn't all though, so I tend to just try to get the pet on classes that can use the staff for a decent haste buff. Will it tank stuff? not really but free dps is free dps, especially if the class has pet affinity so group heals hit it

Are these pets significant enough that everyone should have minion focus and silverwing stick? She's pretty being stingy with dropping them heh. Or do they not really get used much due to low dps / die too quick?

Every little bit adds up, very especially if you're not mega donored. Trying to remember the name of an old guildy that ran 3 groups, and each toon that didn't already have a pet had a draek pet You'll easily have all those clicky buffs before you get a draekon pet on every toon though. I may have been unlucky, but it took me quite a while to get the 5 or 6 that I have. He was a highly contested boss back then though, was hard to find up, especially since he's the easiest boss in HoH imho. Just takes practice following the emotes, and patience if you don't have a lot of DPS. First time I killed him was with just 5 toons and the only DPS I had was a couple T8 Rk 2 pets (one of them had donor weapon buff), non donor bard, cleric, SK tank. Was probably 10 kills before I saw my first clicky pet. Lady luck is a fickle mistress. I've seen so many coth orbs drop that I've had half a dozen rot on me, yet I've never seen the clicky haste from Xeru drop.

It's safe to say that if I had 1 less draekon pet I probably wouldn't have had enough DPS to ever kill RZ with my tiny little crew.
