can't get patcher to work... need update files..

I did download the patcher again and extracted it to C:everquest (the UF client already had the patcher inside but I downloaded it again as you said to do, I then right clicked and ran as admin and the patcher updates and then opens the same window "please browse to your everquest folder" which I did C:everquest and still the same result "unsupported please contact admins on THF" so I have absolutely no idea what the problem is and I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of to do! Why the patcher does not see or find my eqgame.exe is beyond belief! I've done all I can do and just totally out of any other things to try... I can log on and play but the patcher just will not see or find my game, I've even tried turning off my AV and firewall but it does not matter the patcher just will not find my game so I'm just out of ideas..
I will still play but it just is frustrating not being able to use the patcher to get updated files.

I reinstalled the Titanium client because I don't really like the UF UI files but still same result as before the patcher just not see my eqgame.exe and I'm not going to worry about it anymore..I want to say thanks to ALL who gave their input and possible solutions, you ALL are great! and that's why I love this server because the members ALL try to help and it's okay if my patcher don't work I can still log on and play the game without any problems..thanks Lillu for trying to help me too, I just don't know why the patcher won't work on my end..you have been great to me and I love this server and will continue to play here and hopefully someday can figure out why the patcher won't work on my end..so thanks all and you can close this topic as there is nothing left to say or try..thank you ALL that have tried to help me I truly do THANK YOU ALL!

I re-installed the titanium client as I don't like the UF client, but still the patcher does not see the eqgame and after going thu all of this my game loads fine all my files and ui files work perfectl;y so I think I will try one last thing to hopefully get the patcher to work, the only thing I did not do was make sure the net framework was installed as win 10 "claims" it is already installed but I'm going to download it from MS I think it's 4.6.2 and see if that is the problem, regardless I can pkay and all is okay other than seeing the empty space on my buffs that says "empty string" not recognized and I think that is just the updated spell file so please just send me the upodated spell file and I know it will work! I'm sorry to be such a bother but I know others have had the same problems and all I want to do is fix or give a solutin or a work-around until WE can figure out what IS causing this issue...thanks Lillu you are my brother in arms and I will stick with the THF to the end!

I wanted to post a follow up post to my previous posts...
I can't tell you exactly what I did but the THF updater/patcher is now working!
I haven't tried for several days but late last night I extracted the updater again to my C:everquest folder not expecting anything other than the same past results but THIS time it initialized and downloaded 45 updates and I hit the green play button and lo and behold it is WORKING! Praise the EQ Gods! and the THF staff! especially Lillu who has tried his very best to help me! so thanks to ALL that posted suggestions and offered help! ALL of you are great! I wish I knew what I did on my end to get it to work but I tried so many things I truly don't know, all I know is I'm one happy ass THF'er playing again!
