Warrior Aggro Upgrade Path

Once you reach level 70 as a warrior and start raiding the first thing you will notice is that aggro can be an issue! Lucky for us, Tyler has recognized this fact and has made certain weapons aggro kings. I'll give a list of the most beneficial weapon upgrades + augs from tier to tier.

Pre-1.5 --- Ykeshan War Staff of Orderx2. It is from Sebilis, but way back when I convinced Tyler to keep it as a type 4 aug slot. The reason is simple, with it having a type 4 aug slot you can double aug it with the Lower Guk anger aug! This makes dual Ykeshan War Staves auged with that aug the best for aggro until you get your 1.5.

Pre-SSRA --- Now you have your epic 1.5, so the first thing you want to do is aug it with an anger aug from lower guk again. After that, you need to farm Ssraezsha Temple basement named to try and get Symbol of the Snake. So to sum up, you should have your 1.5 with a stun aug + anger aug from guk in your Primary, and in your Secondary you should still have a Ykeshan War Staff of Order.

Post-SSRA -- After your guild starts defeating SSRA named and getting some loot, they will hopefully be able to do a full cursed cycle. The item you want from this is Bloodfrenzy and it is the first of the tank weapons with a 100% proc rate mod. Once you have it, farm another Symbol of the Snake and put it on your weapon. The ideal weapon combo is Bloodfrenzy primary, 1.5 secondary.

You can also get a Blade of Carnage, which drops from the Avatar of War in Kael. AoW is a bit easier than the cursed cycle, but still a beast. Keep in mind that this weapon only has a 50% or 75% proc rate mod, so it's not as good as the Bloodfrenzy for aggro.

Post-ToV -- In ToV there is only one weapon worth getting for a warrior, that is Jaelen's Katana and it only drops off the final boss. This proc is an upgrade from all previous weapons, and it also has a 100% proc rate mod. You'll need to re-farm that Ssra stun aug for this one, but it's well worth it and it will be the last time you'll need to farm that aug!

You will also very likely get your 2.0 completed before you are actually able to raid Sleeper's Tomb. The 2.0 aug setup is the same as the 1.5, but once you break into ST you can get an aug with this effect, and you should get two of them for both your ToV weapon as well as your 2.0.

That's it for now, enjoy holding aggro against the best of your guilds DPS!

Nice Guide, Follow up Question:

Max AC / HP Buff list for warrior?

I've been using:
Wunshi
Shaman Stamina and Agi
Conviction
Brell's from Paladin
Form of Defense I from earring

Puts me at 13118 HP 2703 AC

Am I missing buffs?

I recommend using form of endurance rather than defense. Other than that, the only buffs you're missing are Guard of Earth and Brackencoat from http://clone.thehiddenforest.org/item.php?id=4472

Guard of Earth is supposed to give 165 AC according to Allaclone, but it only gives my warrior 49 AC. 2703 -> 2752

That's a bug with alla clone and aC values. It also says it gives more AC for form of defense than it really does in game, not sure why. On live it was 49AC.

if THF uses the same AC formula as stock Emu code- than this is perfectly normal =)
All AC values listed in the spell file are divided by 2.9 before they applied in game.
SOE did it this way, no one knows why, so Emu devs just copied down exactly as it was, cause otherwise they would have to rewrite and rebalance all AC values in the spell file

Ok, I finally put a Stun Aug in Blasphemous Blade of the Exiled and I have it in my primary slot.

For my 1.5 I augmented with Lower Guk Anger Augment and Cold Stone Crafted from Fungus grove.

Should I delete the cold stone out of 1.5 and replace with Tash aug from SSRA? or put the Tash Augment in my Hammer of Slowing that I swap to slow mobs?

Best part of Exiled Blade clearly is the Lore ;)
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed

It's up to you really. For maximum aggro you would want to put tash on your 1.5 instead of the damage aug. If your aggro is okay without it though, then just go ahead and put it on your hammer. It'll save you some headaches later on.
