having issues connecting

having problems connecting to the server - when i get, let's say, 9 of my characters on and open the guild list it'll show only 6 online. if i zone the ones i do have online, i crash.
mostly though my character attempts to login, gets to character select, i hit enter - it crashes saying a connection can't be made and i have to do it all again.
i was hoping the reboot this morning fixed it, as i was having this problem last night as well.
i reset my router, rebooted the computer. ran the thf launcher to see if i needed to patch.. nothing seems to be working.

any suggestions that i can try next?

Assuming this is a new issue and wasn't like this before, maybe try to run a /ipconfig flushdns command in command prompt. Server side nothing was changed lately so maybe it's some ISP related routing issue, they are usually temporary.
