ISBoxer and Click Bars

Okay, I just downloaded ISBoxer. I followed the Wiki and some help from some guild mates, and I cannot seem to get Click Bars to work. (For that matter, the one key action I tried to create is not working either.) I got my characters and character set created and active, so I can log in just fine. Whenever I get into the game, my custom Click Bar is not visible/active, and my key actions are not working.

Things to keep in mind:
1) I want my normal bars to function as they would as if I was playing a single character -- I want my SK as my main window, and I want to be able to press 1 through 0 to control him.
2) I want to create a Click Bar so that I can use my druid to just cast a heal. But I first need to learn how to create a working Key Map.

I have managed to create a Key Map for a "/target <name> /cast 9" from my druid, I think. I set this up to use Mouse 3 (just as a test), and the key map does not work once I am in-game. It calls the cast from my healer (the target window is the druid IS instance), and it calls the correct hotkey from my keyboard (say, 3), so all of the necessary items are input.

Now, if I want to just make this Key Map a Click Bar, how would I do that?

So, here is what I am asking:
1) Can somebody create a step-by-step to creating a Key Map from my healer, and the heal is on hotkey 3 of my druid, but has no active hotkey?
2) Can somebody create a step-by-step to adding that Key Map to a Click Bar.
3) Can somebody create a step-by-step to activating/adding visibility of a Click Bar in my IS game instance?

Thanks for the help guys. I know somebody here knows how to do this...

I was under the impression that macro's like that weren't allowed. Unless I misunderstand exactly what it is you want to hotkey. I use wineq2, just because its what I was used to on live. I am interested to know if we are allowed to do what I think your asking to do..

To put it this way, I want to be able to press hotkey 1 on the tank, and in turn, that activates hotkey 3 on the druid, hotkey 1 on the ranger, hotkey 5 on the enchanter, and hotkey 1 on the monk. My problem is, I cannot get ISBoxer to link up 1->3; all I have managed to be able to do is Broadcast, which is

You should re-read the server rules. Using ISBoxer if covered there, what can and cannot be used with it in THF.

PS: I have several people to talk to when I have the chance as key repeaters etc spam our server logs and let us known you are using an illegal "feature". It might take a bit as we are busy but sooner or later you will get a tell from us. Please follow server rules to avoid unnecessary trouble for you and us both :)

I read the server rules before I downloaded/purchased ISBoxer. The rules say that I can use it, but not for macroing. But that is a little vague from an end-user standpoint.

If you mean that I am required, by server rules, "to activate a preset ability on a character while on that character screen," I can understand that.

Take, for example, my current situation: while on my SK, I want to turn on auto attack, which is bound to hotkey 1. So I press 1. In doing so, my ranger assists my SK and begins to autofire and my monk assists my SK and begins to autoattack. Do I have to individually start attacking on each account?

Take, for example, another question from the forums: while on my SK, I begin to move, so I press a button and my entire team begins to auto-follow my main. Once I stop, I press the button again, and they all stop following. Do I have to individually type /follow on each account?

Are both situations legal? Are both situations illegal? If not, are we drawing a combat distinction?

I do not want to run any automation in this; I want to manage everything from one screen and one keyboard. It is still me playing these characters. For example, I press Mouse 4 to activate an ability on one of my characters (say, a direct heal targeted at my SK), or I press Shift+Mouse 4 to activate another ability (say, a debuff targeted at my SK's target). I pressed the button. Was I required to press the button while my druid was the active screen or my enchanter was the active screen?

I would like to know so that I can be compliant with the intention of the rule.

I am on my phone so I can't really type a lot, but here is what you cannot do:
with one key stroke on one window make 12 toons attack, go around the mob, heal you and melee all at the same time from one window with one keystroke. This would be borderline "macroing" hence illegal. There are MANY ways to ise ISB correctly and many ways to use it incorrectly.

We would also appreciate if this thread gets moved to private PMs or even tells ingame. We have been there many times and the next thing will be discussing other ways to automate actions. inb4MQ2 :)

PS: to clarify, when i say about "you cannot" I don't mean you are not able, I meant this won't be allowed.

After speaking to the interested parties, and for the sake of no-misunderstandings (I just invented a word!) I will lock the thread as the situation has been resolved to everyone's satisfaction

Just a reminder to everyone, MQ2 = tsk tsk :)

On a similar subject, if you have questions about what is legit or not to use here, please contact a GM as other players might not give you the correct information. Telling a GM "Joey said I can Warp" will not save you (this is not directed to any one in particular).
