I'm anxious too, but i'm sure these guys have a full plate ... and honestly enchanters wont make or break any mob/raid encounter =)

If it goes the path of the illusions ... we have a ton of them.
I'd love to see the race illusions have a new rank added to them.

Iksar/troll illusion rk2 : HP Regen bonus
Ogre illusion rk2 : stun resist / ac and melee mitigation
Skelly illusion rk2 : mana regen
Erudite Illusion rk2 : enhanced wis and int or maybe a mana boost
Gnome illusion rk2 : Avoidance and strikethrough
Halfling illusion rk2 : agility and dodge boost

ECT.


The possibilities are endless.. and the more i look at it the more i see how much work would need to be put into this. I'm sure the devs have much more pressing matters than an Enchanter revamp. I can dream tho.

this is being worked on. The idea itself will definitely go in, but can't tell you exactly how powerful the effects will be just yet.
Personally I am leaning towards making 2 ranks of each illusion type. One for mid level game and one (more powerful) for high end game.

Awsome illusions will become actualy usefull .... aside from making everyone shorter than me . napoleon complex or something :o

Wanted to ask, there are some chanter illusion which can be casted on others with effects, such as Boon of Garou and Night Dark Terror - anyone actually using those?

My chanter uses nights dark terror occasionally but if you can champion the group including the pet it really becomes another useless spell. That and the damn cackling that your pet or other toon makes is just annoying. But I agree its very difficult to box and play a chanter

I use dark nights .. mostly on my pet so i can tell them apart from the mobs or to shrink them... speaking of any chance we can get a pet shrink? Also use tricksters every now and then.

The illusion changes are LIVE.
here are the exact changes. Please note that this is a trial run, so effects and numbers can/will be changed/nerfed latter if necessary.
The most important part is that these illusions can now be casted on others without need of AA. Later on we will introduce a second (higher) tier of illusion with more powerful effects.

Fire: (DPS)
-DS (original)
-Melee Critical 50% (remember that this is from base)
-Fire Proc: Ignite

Earth: (TANK)
-STR (original)
-HP +100
-AC +50 (raw ac, which means 1/3 in game)
-Proc: Berserk

Water (Healer)
-EB (original)
-Regen +2
-Healing Focus 10% - stacks with focus items, no level limit

Air (caster)
-Levitation (original)
-Mana Regen +2
-Spell Haste 5% - stacks with focus items, no level limit

Mages AA uses a totally different set of spells (the Form of ). The changes above are for enchanter only spells
