Not sure how you'd accomplish that type of DPS, but if so. Thats crazy.

Talking about pets - let me know what you think of Wild Companion and True Warder after yesterdays patch.
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed

The T8 pet still seems lackluster, seems weird to be so much worse than the other classes.

BST t8 pet lvl 81 62144hp 6243ac max hit 8552 (with donor v2 click, sunebot buffs, sham buffs). No parser running so I don't know the exact dps on the pet.

quads pretty much every time, anywhere from 2300-8552. Lots of 3-4kish hits

Going to necro this post a little...

So I've been reviewing the Beastlord AA Feral Swipe and curious to get some opinions on pending changes.

1) Keep it the way it is (3500 Strike every 60s)
2) Make it passive with a % chance to strike every hit. The formula used would be: 10+(Dexterity + Heroic Dexterity)/100. So a player with 600 Dex and 50 Heroic Dex would have: 10+(600+50)/100 = 16.5% chance to strike per normal hit.

Just curious what the few Beastlords out there think.

I vote for the passive version that has a % to trigger based on stats, passive abilities are nice when running multiple boxes.

Spoke with the other Devs and we've agreed on the following:

Feral swipe will remain as an activated AA doing 3500 dmg once every 60 seconds. Additionally when you train in feral swipe you will get the chance to conduct a "Feral Swipe" on your target each time you swing. The formula that will be used is: 5+(Dexterity+Heroic Dexterity)/200. So a Beastlord with the AA, 600 Dex and 100 Heroic Dex will have an 8.5% chance of hitting with Feral Swipe (3.5k damage) for each attack that they do.

5+(600+100)/200 = 8.5

So it's a mix of both options granting more passive DPS without overpowering Beastlords melee capabilities.

Just adding this in here also. The next reboot will include a lot of stacking issues being resolved for Beastlords. You all will find that your DPS disciplines/buffs stack a lot better now with other classes and your own buffs.
