The server is highly customized, most items and 70 spells are. There are fights when you could really use up all the buff slots... ie. Sleeper (junk buffs, debuffs, etc). I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of shammy buffs combined together. As it stands now, you have 7 essential shammy buffs that already take up 7 buff slots:

1.) Focus
2.) Perseverance
3.) Panther
4.) Champion
5.) Sense
6.) Might
7.) Godly Conversion

If a couple of these are combined, it would make room for some other buffs & save us some precious time. Really doesn't hurt anything.

-edit- by the way, don't combine the shammy-exclusive buffs to wunshi (because Sune gives wunshi)... this would maintain desirability for shammies in groups.

I guess, why not just combine them all then. We'll call them:

Cleric buff
Enchanter buff
Shaman buff

Seriously I get what you're saying about the custom spells though, with the addition of some of those it gets tough. But with AA's like Mystical Attuning it seems to me that having to pick and choose your buffs because you have a limited amount of spellslots IS part of the game. Otherwise there would be just unlimited spellslots.

Hey, I forgot to add the STA buff, so that's a total of 8 shammy buffs LOL. I didn't say to combine all 8 in one.... something like combine some of them to other buffs, bring shammy buffs down to say 5. Shamans were one of the essential buffers in Live, in THF there are like 2-3 custom buffs that were added to the class. Why not condense the number of buffs to maintain the 5 or so total shammy buffs in Live?

If the mystical attuning AA added like 8 buff slots instead of 5, then yeah, this idea isn't needed.

I think that's pretty reasonable - maybe combine str/dex (off) and combine sta/agi (def).

^ See, I'm usually reasonable :P You got the idea right :-)

Something like this should work:

1.) Wunshi (focus)
2.) Panther
3.) Champion + Perseverance (combined, 12 min buff?)
4.) Talisman of Might + Sense + Fortitude (combined, 60 min buff?)
5.) Godly Conversion

Champ is a short 6.5 min buff, while perseverance is a 20 min buff... combining them and rounding off the average duration to say 12 mins? Talisman of Might, Sense, & Fortitude are all 1 hour buffs, so no sense changing it... perhaps just combine the cost of mana too.

Honestly id rather see buffs not touched, its part of game experience not to have all the buffs u want, so your missing out on a couple theres an aa to add 5 extra buff slots.

Some classes have more of an issue with buffs than others. Keep that in mind. Hybrids need just about everything whereas pure melee can click off caster buffs and visa versa.

You kinda need consider that Champion/Godly Conversion/Panther are shorter than the other buffs while we have Group version of Panther/Champion there is not a group version of Godly Conversion.
Also if you put Wunshi in the combo than you would either need a new Talisman of Everything Spell or some other solution cause else you will have Sune buff everyone with it, and i actualy think the Combo buffs should only be avaible by played Classes instead of Bot's or Sune.

I agree with Hibbitz that we shouldn't go too overboard on this buff combining. Might also want to concider that when you lump up your buffs it makes it that much easier for a debuffing mob to clear you of them all.
