Cleric lulls are pretty useless outside of leveling.

Prior to rolling my monk, my cleric used to lull my group past tons of mobs throughout the game. :-) There was always the chance of a critical fail and having death descend upon me. But those are the risks. Don't underestimate the power of the cleric lull. I used to pull all sorts of named mobs away from their guards by having the cleric lull/pacify the guards then pull with my tank (at the time my BL). It was a system I used extensively all the way through to ToV for splitting without a monk or bard. heck I still use him from time to time to split POAir named away from the nearby adds looking to wreak havonc on my little group when i am too lazy to load the monk. :-P

OK I am doing a definite revamp on 2 things: the summoned hammers vs undead, and the the hammer pet.
If I finish up today, it should go live tomorrow (given Lillu will have time to plug in my changes in the morning) ;)

Palies will also get partial access to the new hammers but at much later levels.

I tested cleric lull and ONLY Wake of Tranquility actually pacifies. The other ones either return an error "use a monk or bard to pull" or return an error "no chance (or something like that". This was in ToV. After that I made a monk and haven't looked back, I've gotten really good at chain pulling singles with my monk while still tanking a mob and healing with my cleric in sleeper's. Just too risky to try and paci with the cleric.

I used lull/pacify a lot when leveling my cleric from 1-70. I still use placate in PoFire when pulling named from around guards. So long as I stayed inside the level ranges capable for the spell I had no real issues. Also as long as I never cast a second paci type spell on a mob that had resisted the first I never got aggroed. If the mob resisted and I tried a second cast I would always get attacked.

I use the spell line a lot on both my cleric and chanter, if there was a request to be made on this, I would ask for chanters and cleric to get one that worked on mobs up to level 72-73, but it should be noted that would not make them solo better :) For zones I know placate works in Seb, Icewell, Chardok Royals area, PoValor, and I imagine anywhere where mob level does not exceed level 70.

Placate is different from Wake of Tranquility (level 55 ae paci) and Pacification (level 65 single target paci). Placate only effects reaction radius, and the other 2 spells effect reaction radius and frenzy radius (not sure what frenzy radius does).

essentially a mob has 2 agros ranges:
-the range at which it agros itself, and
-range at which it agros to assist another mob on same faction

By default these ranges are identical and determined by a single value.

However lull spells can modify specifically one or the other, or both.

You need to reduce assist range when you need to pull from a group, and you need to reduce agro range when you want to just sneak by.

Which of them is which I don't remember off hand

I am guessing that is frenzy then, as with placate I can pull a named without his guard.

Frenzy is the assist range.

Cleric:
-Cleric Summoned Hammers (weapons) have been redesigned and turned into powerful (personal) weapon vs undead

I like this idea. Have yet to log in today and play with it. Do not see myself using the hammer myself with donator weapon but its still something nice.
