If others want to test pets or a specific series of buffs if you are finishing yourself underpowered please run similar parses. The AC coding it pretty close to where it used to be, so has to be somewhere else in the code.

I just ran the same 20 buffs + T8 evolve bp (50% increase to archery) + intensity of the Resolute, along with donor bp disc: Wrath of the Protector on:

Tier 1 Parser dummy Atcho
Ranged: 3 minutes and got 170K, 140K, and then 189K dps

And then I switched to:

Tier 8 Parser dummy Atche
Ranged: 3 minutes and got 178K, 180K, 169K

In the Fall of 2013, I was dps'ing the tier 1 dummy for 240-260K dps, ranged damage with donor bp.

It should increase critical hit chance. Least that is what the code is showing. Remember also that there is a hard cap of 90% crit hit chance in the code. So even at max % you are not guaranteed a crit hit every time.

Veteran's Wrath AA actually increased the max crit damage amount on live. Not sure what the multiplier was.

I did another LDoN run and the pet damage is just about the same as I remember, just a little less, about 2K off on the hits, but it is the closest I have seen yet. Thanks

Edit, I think this is about as close as we can get, without making the damage go over what it was.

Edit: Here is a quote I found on the old Monkly-business.net:

Vet wrath increases your crit cap. Base crit cap without mods, or Vetwrath is 1.7 times your highest non crit hit. Vet wrat 1, is 1.89 times, Vet wrath 2 is 2.09 times, and vet wrath 3 is 2.46 times.

Lets say your max hit with 1hander is 200, so with no vw, you max crit is 340. With VW 1 its, 378. VW 2, 418. VW 3, 492.

This is one of the aa's that actualy scales up the higher level you buy.

I am pretty sure this AA was working as intended when I originally leveled up my toons here, or I would've mentioned something about it 5 years ago. This AA is probably one of the biggest DPS boosts a melee oriented class can receive.

This has to be one of the main culprits to lost melee DPS. I don't think this AA had any effect on ranged DPS.

Ran Lanx through Nadox tonight and experienced a very marked decrease in dps. Something is definitely different.

Edit: Just got railed by Zethurim because of lack of dps. This has never happened. Something is most definitely different.

Hey mighty V I know you're out and about right now but when you get back around can you take another look at this? Veteran's Wrath AA is supposed to increase the dmg done by crit hits, not further increase the % chance of getting a crit hit.
