So I am just starting with this whole tradeskill thing and was hoping for some needed info. I know that I need to max out New Tanaan to get Baking, Blacksmithing, Fletching, JC, Pottery and Tailoring each to 300. And someone told me I could pick one of them to max it to max. What is the max skill lvl? I know the #myskills says they can all go to 400. But someone told me max was 350? Also the off skill ones like Alchemy, Fishing, Poison Making, Research and Tinkering what can their max go to? Thanks for any help and info I can get.

For those cheap skates like me, might I suggest a less expensive Tinkering recipe?

Geerlok Automated Hammer - Tivial at 215
- Grease
- Gears
- Sprockets
- Gnomish Bolts
- Smithy Hammer (Szrix Hammertail - pok)
- small piece of acrylia (Easy to farm & chisel larger blocks/bricks 2 for 1)

Using this recipe instead of the Nantik's Anti-Gravity Unit saved about 30k pp per 100 combines. (34,500 pp vs 2923 pp per 100 attempts)

This may or may not be relevant to the original content, but a decent way to supplement Tailoring/Blacksmithing skillups is to make the Infused Muramite xxx (Plate/Chain/Leather/Silk). I'm currently farming for Solo Auras in Icewell and a 1x Solvent + 1x Material combines at a 255 trivial. It's really only applicable to farming the Aura stuff, but anyone looking at tradeskills who happens to be doing the camp would benefit...

Sure that works too. I mainly go elsewhere for solo aura stuff. The more tradeskill stuff I can collect all at the same time as doing solo aura, works out best for me since I do it all. Usually in PoStorms to collect as many waters/scales as I can. If I am doing solo auras at that time. If not, then it's Fungus Grove for water,scale, and shrooms! Never really did the Muramite myself.
