Question...

As I've stated in another post, I'm pretty new here and mostly just play by myself or one other friend...

We just recently got level 70 with this crew... Rogue, Paladin, Monk, and one bot (whatever we needed) Is this team gonna be able to do anything really? Or am I going to be forced to drop the Paladin for a warrior... and add a cleric or something?

if you plan to move onto group/raid content past 70, like Kael and so on, you will need a at least dedicated healer, so cleric on the team is a must.
Whenever Paladin can substitute a warrior, I leave that for more capable raiders to answer.

Yeah, that's really my only concern... I was planning on adding a cleric anyway, but I have seen very very few paladin's being played, and not that many SK's... tons of warriors everywhere... so I was just curious if that was just because of personal preference, or if it's because Warriors are the only capable tanks high level.

In ToV we use a SK tank, and he tanks it perfectly

Cool... That gives me some hope that maybe the paladin will be up to the task.

He also tanks all but the toughest named with a poor little cleric BOT to heal him :)

OP, go with a cleric bot if you cannot box one. Jigz, our resident cleric bot, has served us very, very well and is still putting in a good shift on most raids :)

You can have a boxed cleric, or make friends with a real one, to spot heal (Ancient: Hallowed Light, well focused, is amazing) in or out of group (in group if the encounter has a nasty AOE, out of group otherwise, if room is needed) against the tougher mobs.

DPS wise you're fine so your group should be just dandy right up to ToV, particularly once you get the defensive clicks (if they exist for the paladin). Only two DPS will make slow goings against the 2m+ hp mobs, though. So make some friends or box some AFK rangers and that's that sorted :)

In general, though, you can single group tons of post 70 content so long as you have a tank, healer and DPS. You also have a monk so get the ToV pants, for Chaotic Pacify, as soon as you can :)

Definitely. But having chaotic pacification is still a very nice tool to have.
