World Bosses

At this point, the world bosses aren't attractive targets to me, we are busy gettting Xeg flagged, PoFire Armored, and PoAir Augged, so camping a world target that doesn't really provide us with much isn't high on the priority list.

I'm sure that will change when the higher tier world bosses come out, and hopefully we will be done with our keying and gearing and be in PoFear farming by them.

99.9 % sure we haven't touched em. The only thing I would want is that scarecrow illusion and i will pay for that!

Let me pile on and agree with the raider sentiment. There is no way that I would make the effort to camp any of the new world bosses the way it has been suggested. There are more productive things I could be doing than camping a mob that is not going to drop anything I can equip. If I happened to catch one up I would probably kill it for kicks, but then I would also /ooc the loot like I usually do when I can't use a drop. Sure I could loot it and sell it, but what would I do with the plat? When I need plat I can farm what I need in a lot less time that it would take to actively camp these mobs.

The way I read your post it looked as if you were complaining about the loot dropping.

These world bosses are new, not even 48 hours maybe. Players are excited and killing them even though they dont need their loot. Once this excitement passes, things will begin to balance out opening them up to the lower guilds or whoever.

and honestly, I wouldn'T worry in advance, I mean 3 of those are live out of the 12 thats planned to be released this weekend. So imo, let's wait and see and don'T worry on something that not even happened yet.

Exactly my point, I wasn't complaining about the loot drops, I frankly couldn't be bother with them. But the mobs have been live for a couple of days and people are already complaining. The idea that raid geared people are going to do this is as ridiculous as you or I camping Emp in Ssra for the loot.

Initially I loved the idea too, but a monster was created. I thought it would be a great way for some friends, unguilded or lower guilds to get something they normally wouldnt be able too. As it turns out its just a way for the guilds who already have everything to farm more for thier alts or new members. Yes they can be camped. Its too easy to make a ranger bot and sit in zone on your boxed char your not using 27 hours after you killed it the first time and wait for it to come up again. I found one up not by camping but by simply checking the zones as intended and sure enough was dead way before I had enough time to get any friends etc to help. Was good in theory anyway, grats those who already have everything at getting even more.

Yeah its like this on P1999.

People sit an army of boxed toons in each zone tracking named, as soon as they spawn people are texting each other and the mob is dead within twenty minutes.

I just hope it doesnt lead to the situation like it is on P1999, where GuildA cries to Lillu that GuildB took their mob every other minute.

Id rather the GMs be doing what they do best, than babysitting conflicts

Gah Lillu you guys are the best haha. Content will always have its share of drama when it comes out. My finger wasnt really pointing in the direction of the devs but those who I know are farming them(without naming names you know who you are) Those people need the loot like we need more fat ogres afk in front of Sune. Sure maybe its the excitement of killing new content but I dont see that loot being put up in ooc for sale etc to improve any economy or give others a chance at it. Your doing great giving us new content guys keep it up and ignore the drama
