I think the server will be around for quite some time, because the staff is very attentive to the needs of the server/player base, and strives to provide the best content that they can come up with. The player base itself, not including the few bad eggs and spoil sports who seem to be on every server regardless, is filled with friendly and helpful people who are mostly mature and willing to really help out newcomers. With factors such as these, I personally see this server having a chance of outlasting even Live. With that said, take off your coat and stay a while...and welcome to the server! =D
