I have NEVER seen it so much on any other emu server or online as I do here.

Whenever I camp something or just exp in a zon its always someone who take the mobs I have around me or camp.

Even in BIG zones they will go just as same place as other people and kill mobs.......

And worst guild I ever have seen have I started to put on ignore list as soon as I see any new member they have........

Havent meet any of them yet that dont have stealed mobs even when I have camped some room in guk or other places they just run in and attack mobs even when I fight them.......

should be some honor atleast but some people in here is missing that and my ignore list is growing more and more.....

I second this - the problem is to have voluntary guides that know what they are doing and that we can trust (e.g. dont summon freebies for their friends).

They don't fall off of trees.

I agree also......every time I zone into and give a shout for a camp check ppl shout back with lol, or just say there is no camp in EqEmu...anything I can do please let me know..

Just dont give them much power tyler ^^ that way no naughty corruption could happen.

I think volunteer GMs, with the power of GM-invis, zone teleport commands, run speed (to get around quicker), and temp ban powers plus hidden section of the forum where they can discuss issues and request perma bans from 'full-GMs' would go a long way towards improving the experience here at THF.

Preferably players who've been here a while and know the ins and outs of the server. With only the above powers I don't think power abuse would be too rampant, since the worst they can do is temp ban and could be removed from power if enough players complained.

yeah, we are working on this. Best if you report us the issue, can PM any of the GMs.

Last week a smart player trained a GM who were playing in incognito. lol..

and fyi, we do warn/ban players, just we aren't always taking it to the public.

Could take a page from the book of EZ Server. FRAPS ON!
Lets get a forum subsection to report people.
Download fraps. Can record 30seconds at a time with the free version.
Set up a hotkey to turn on record and when someone runs in attempting to KS // Train you just fraps away.

Considering the level of GM // Staff support on this server a forum section that is private to only staff and the poster where you could report players without being flamed over it would do wonders for the few bad apples this server comes across.

Out of all the EMU servers I ever played on this server is probably the best one in terms of GM assistance and Dev support. A few bad people lowered the fun for me which is why I am on a temporary break from playing.

We have had this discussion so many times about camping and kill stealing and nothing ever really changes.

Yes, there are going to be some that run right pass someone else and steal a mob that you have been working hard to get to or waiting for all day. Someone takes advantage of all your hard work, rushes past you and bam kills the mob steals the loot and disappears. Understand that while extremely frustrating, the best course of action is not blow it up in /ooc but to send a PM to Lillu and the GM's.

While they cannot take care of it immediately they do take care of it. Like you saw earlier, they go into game as different toons and even they are seeing what is occurring and Banishment soon follows. Its not perfect but it does work when you use the proper channels. Screen shots are a huge help if you are able to get them. Please be patient and understand that on such a great server where the GM's are VERY proactive, there are still going to be one or two jack@$$es out there who don't care about anything or anyone but themselves.

They will get caught, they will get banished and it will be a better server when they do. But don't prejudge a server based on a few less than desirables because all you will be doing is cheating yourself of all the great stuff the server offers. And if you truly feel that you hate it so much feel free to spend the time and money and effort to start a new server and show us how its done, because with all the bluster and flapping of gums about how bad it is, i am willing to bet that no one could fair much better than the staff here when it comes to pro-activity and making a place for all to come and have a good time. They have lives also.

We just appreciate how much of their life is donated to our server. I say our because I have worked hard to help them make this a great place. Before you complain, can you say as much?
