Haha! ok didnt expect anything from making the Potion.

2 other things to note:

Is it flagged as benificial ? it only casts on me when clicked.

My froglok graphics is now half human and half erudite ive tried zoning,camping and changing with illusion but nothing seems to fix it so maybe its something with the name change or something done since i logged out last night ?

It's designed as pulling tool but "Dispell" has alawys been flagged as beneficial. So you are saying it's not been usable as pulling tool?

Yeah i remember some monk leggings or tunic on live with this clicky it was a decent pulling tool...

As it is now when i click it, it targets me and i resist it, even if i have an npc targeted it switches back to me and i resist it lol.

Hm, it's not set to self but target : all in the spellfile. Can you check if your clerics Dispell work or are they bugged, too?

ok checked:

cancel magic
nullify magic
annul magic

all 3 seem to target and try to dispell the dummies,

potion of clean magic - targets caster and strips you of all buffs

to my knowledge- ANY item with ANY spell effect which flagged as Potion, will ALWAYS AUTOMATICALLY target SELF

so, drop the potion flag

so what does this item actually do? Whats the benefit in using this over the Cloak of Combustion as a pulling tool say for a warrior?

You dispell a damage shield or other nasty buff while pulling.
