Rather than making content with the intention of wiping raiders, keep in mind trash shouldn't be 1/10th of what a boss mob should be able to do.

try not to worry too much before it's even released. It will be the best raid zone so far, I can tell you that in advance. and yeah, you will prolly wipe serveral times before learning/figuring out the content. It will be challenging.

Really is a good point by Volgar

Also hope you dont have to do a key quest to enter this zone. VP was already a pain trying to get alts keyed (had to even do 1.5 for a toon).

it will be like this, you hail an npc in THF and get teleported straight to the final boss in DS. The final boss will have a proximity check, and if a player runs close enough, he will die and you can loot his corpse.

Clearly thats what I was suggesting. :lol:

But in all honesty, I do hope Dreadspire has boss encounters that are as refreshing as the VP bosses were. It was nice to have more to the fight than just the typical tank and spank; definitely made the zone more fun that previous raid zones.

Though, I do hope not all the trash in Dreadspire repops as fast as some VP trash does - parts of that place can be dangerous if you ever try to take a quick AFK break - especially the first part of the zone. :mrgreen:

As far as the trash mob difficulty, it not that you will wipe so to speak, bit rather the days of pulling 10+ mobs and killing them at once is over. All of the trash mobs have been given abilities that make them unique in their own ways and will make you think about what you are doing when you pull. And I despise straight line zones, all the trash have path grids that they follow around their prespective spawn points. all the respawn timers for trash mobs range from 20-35 minutes depending on the location. There are also "safe spots" throughout the zone where you can afk without worry, (I was always a fan of the safe hall in guk)

The scripted events here work as guild instanced right? Asking as a comparison to air and the avatar scripted events, while the zone is instanced the scripts are effectively not.

Are guilds going to have to effectively compete for script spawns here? Or no? If no, any way someone can look at air avatar scripts and get them to work guild instance wise like the dreadspire scripts?:P
