some help locating two items

Does anyone know if the Pure Ice earring from Icewell will drop off the names as well or has a higher chance to drop off them? I farmed them last night, the loremaster, some sargent on 2nd floor, and the hunter and other guy on 3rd floor. Sometimes they dropped nothing but usually they would drop that INT caster ring, trepid ring or something like that. I got a necklace which was a nice upgrade, and also a cool aug of avoidance i think it was called. and a couple masks that have imp illusion clicky. I only seen the necklace and aug once, the mask twice, TONS of rings, seemed to be 50/50 on just droping nothing. oh they also were droping the chest and leg quested KD armor peices. But didnt see the earring. Just hoping to get some clarification before i go back and farm my face off again on them.

short version would be does this earring drop off named mobs and does it have a higher chance to do so? or should i just mass kill the trash and hope to get lucky at some point? I really want this earring =)

in other news, 14 snare sticks, still no hammer of slowing. It would seem RNG hates me.

Mass kill the trash, pretty sure those items (Pure Ice, the FD earring, the DS ammo slot necklace) all had the same drop chance despite named vs trash mobs.

I got my DS necklace and Pure Ice earring off trash. A few times actually. Every single time was off trash.

IIRC the icewell drops are zone-wide 1% droprate from anything non-named.

think that's true, but I thought the FD earring was a 1% from named only. I could be wrong again though, that happens pretty often.

thanks guys! I'm mostly just interested in the root earring. half sec root omg gotta have it. I'm a druid, master of roots and snares, but this thing puts all my root spells to shame. closest i can get is a 1.8 sec cast time root but it only last for a min.

After about 20 snare sticks i finally got hammer of slowing last night. woot! Now just gotta get this earring till i find my next item to obsess over hehe.
