Public Relations Manager Introduction

I would like to start off by saying:

Thank you THF for being the open-minded, respectful, and mature community that you are!

I've had the pleasure of being a part of this community since month one of it's launch to the EQEmu public login, and am proud to now be a part of the THF staff to help contribute to the best quality custom server available.

Officially, I am making my introduction a (semi)short one. But I want all of you to know that I am here as a helping hand for the staff and for the players. The development team works harder than some of us see, and a lot of work behind the scenes is a challenge for a small staff when you consider the scope of content available on THF. It is because of this, that I am taking this role to help ensure that the staff has more opportunity to do what they do best, which is create content and ensure stability and an updated code for you, the players.

As such, I will be a liaison for the staff to communicate to the players, and vice-versa. I will also be helping to keep the stressful aspect of server design (customer service, so to speak) from impacting the developers ability to continue to move forward with content development instead of answering to the community on every small issue.

With that being said, you can contact me via PM on the forums with any questions, comments, or concerns, and I will ensure that your communication makes its way to the developers when necessary. I will also do my best to answer your questions or concerns myself when possible. Please keep your messages brief, and straight to the point. I want you all to start using me as your first choice in communication, before it reaches the development staff. I am here as a mediator, as well as a guide, and anything in-between. I ask that you treat me, the developers, the server, and other players, with respect and I will be quite honored and happy to treat all of you with respect as well. I also ask that you remain patient with the staff and myself. We all have lives outside of the server, and it's important that you respect that THF is not the only aspect to our lives, same as most of you. My main mission is to help ensure that THF remains an open-minded, respectful, and mature server for many more years to come.

I thank all of you for allowing me to be a part of THF in this way. I could not be more excited to service The Hidden Forest.

I say with the truest humility in your new position that I hope I won't have to talk with you . It is a well known fact that monks don't have problems

If on the off chance I do I will make sure it is your PM box that gets the spam. Also can I have your home phone number in case I just feel the need to talk

Well, you are almost correct. It's more like a cubicle. And we sometimes get leftover chicken parts from the nearest dog food processing plant. Lillu usually asserts his dominance by eating all the chicken parts though...
