The recent failure of the playstation network is worse for the users then previously thought. It has been made public by Sony that unauthorized people have accessed and have taken the personnel data of many users. Sony has not yet come clean if this also includes Credit Card information, however they have not ruled it out.
What did they get?
Here is the data that Sony is sure has been compromised if you have a PlayStation Network Account:
Your name
Your address (city, state, and zip)
Country
E-mail address
Birthday
PSN password and login name

- sony"If you have provided your credit card data through PlayStation Network or Qriocity, out of an abundance of caution we are advising you that your credit card number (excluding security code) and expiration date may have been obtained."
Any members with playstation network accounts should change there passwords at your earliest convenience, and keep an eye on your credit card history that may be linked to your account. That is of course when the PSN comes back on line.
