Well done I say. After the usual startup adjustments, the event and Micah's plans seemed to unfold nicely. I was watching with Zief on my second comp, and as I suspected, I would have to head to work before the games were halfway through. As far as I can tell, the event was a success, and the turnout, although we would wish it to be 100+, was great. I am looking foreward to seeing Dimm's Videos(I assume he was gathering footage of the whole event). Im sure it will be a long one, with plenty of action. Looking foreward to seeing the group events. Maybe we can actually get those seperate or something so we could catch the whole battle hehe. Anyhow... Big thanks to Micah and Lillu, and whoever may have helped behind the scenes to get this BotB event done. Grats to the winners and the participants!

We already have plans for the next one. We'll do 1-3 class per day next time and then we'll prolly have even more participants.

Pally event will be on a separate day for sure.

More to come though! I agree with Lillu, next event we will spread it through several days so more people can participate ... and Pallies wont be able to heal!! (joking!!)

Next one we would like even more people to sign up!

I agree that all in all, it was a lot of fun . I explicitly told FRAPS to record the audio, but unfortunately it did not, so that put a damper on some of my plans for featuring in-game sound effects .

I am experimenting with adding my own, but am skating the line between, "oooh that's neat!" and "PMGz that's CHEESY!!!"

I'm also adding some custom special effects (Ala' Sparticus). but it's going to take me about a week to edit all of the footage. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to make some tough cuts for continuity (e.g. getting rid of the people with the bouncing bug), but I will be sure to credit all of the participants in the video description!

I'm not sure if anyone got a /w list of the FFA event, but if you did, please PM it to me!
