dont have a problem with knights having the better multi tanking skills, in fact if i didnt have so many donor items on my war i'd reroll pally or sk myself, just think you dont have a lot to complain about with a 20 sec recast on a clicky.

20 second recast timer on all our ae aggro spells is to much, especially when pally's have True Command. They can use Sacred Word Rk. I and True Command(both the spell and the clicky from DS) every 10 seconds, give or take a few seconds. So they get 3 ae aggro spells every 10 seconds(less on some of them) and the ToV pants.

This seems to be a problem with what many would consider to be an overpowered spell, I sure dont play a Knight but Ive never seen one get True command and not say something like "OMFG I cant die". This conversation is about T2 legs and balancing not T7 balancing.

Firenze wrote:My advice would be give SK a AE lifetap spell inline with true command spell and don't touch the legging, so all knight get something to cast every 10sec for CC.

If the ToV knight legs stay an instant re-cast they take away all ability for a Warrior of that same gear level to hold agro. Its simple math; 1000pt Aoe instant vs. 6 second recast 650pt single target ranged.

If you feel that the knight classes need more to do than click an aoe every 10 seconds to keep group agro then consider lowering the agro to 50 to be more in line with the much hatted flurry spamming that warriors are required to do when we loose agro on a mob or have to control more than one.

I was there before lock!

Logical correction if it was not intended to be so.
Remember 2.0 duration/recast time, wizard 2.0, Etc... and more to come as this is how THF staff balances the game server. (not intended = logical correction)

In 1 week, you will have forgot about this change and still enjoy your pal/sk toon.

I for one enjoyed pushing the envelope of what was possible to tank using these greaves to keep extreme chain healing/nuking uninterrupted. This kind of hyper-accelerated game play kept me coming back for more night after night, and made certain zones/quests far more palatable. I totally understand the envy coming from classes without this ability.

I only hope you folks hating on knights right now had the chance to play with what was possible while you could. It was, at times, exhilarating.

I don't see the problem. Is the hate generated via all options not enough to hold aggro for at least 20 seconds on multiple mobs?

I'm playing devil's advocate, and I am literally inquiring, and not being rhetorical, here. I run with a paladin, and find that I rarely if ever use my ToV pants, as I can cycle True Command spell and clicky earring from DSK and that is usually [more than] sufficient . Tack on Unwavering Faith IV (group defensive rune ... runes are pretty high aggro) and you have some sick aggro abilities.

But, I am unfamiliar with SK abilities. So I ask again, are 3 options each on 20 second timers not enough? Or am I missing something?

I didnt like reading the patch notes but I wouldnt over re-act about it either.
This is just another in a long line of changes where you make a slight adjustment to your play and usually you re-find a use for some clicky and/or spell

Perhaps we are about to see a new donor item with aoe hate instant cast, 0 recast!

I'd buy it, no hesitation. :)

...weak attempt lighten the mood some.
