Tonight we, me (Shapeshifter) and my guild (Blood Tithe), were in the process of clearing Fear to kill Cazic. I'm an ench and bored. Looking for something to do, I decide to find a mob that I can charm. On my SK I pulled mob after mob to my ench, with each attempt at a charm failing.
Throughout the clearing, I basically went through every type of mob in the zone looking for something charmable, but kept getting the same "This NPC cannot be charmed." message.
Fast forward to sometime later, the guild is setup to kill Cazic, but being an amazing gnome I refused to give up and I pull one last mob to my ench before we engage. During the process I accidentally agro Cazic. The guild essentially says, "Screw it, kill Cazic."
So on my SK, now next to my ench, I turn around grab firm agro of the mob I was pulling and I flip over to my ench to make the final attempt at a charm. And what do you know it lands! At that moment, Cazic decides to do his AE knockback, effectively putting the charmed mob under 97% health.
To make the picture clear.... a mob that summons is now my charmed pet, it's under 97% health and very angry with Cazic. What do you think the pet does? He of course decides to summon Cazic! Moving Cazic quite a distance from his original placement.
Cazic proceeds to summons tanks out of positions, throws healers in every direction and well wipes the raid since no one can recover and get in decent positioning.
I still can help but laugh at this little event.. The bored enchanter who summons a god! Haha.
