Greetings

Greetings fellow Eq'ers!

Just starting on the server and using Titanium. Had a few questions about the server and some other things. Made it through the starter quest, I must say the click on quests dialogue is really nice to see.

Q1: Aside from the benefit of gaining access to newer updated custom UI's from places like EQ Interface is there any advantage to switching to UF?

Q2: Can you travel through the world like in live EQ. Or must you head to everything via the starting zone?

Q3: Saw the bots and wondering if they spawn at your lvl or max lvl and/or must you lvl them or delete and rebuild as you gain levels?

Q5: Is there any level restrictions in place for PL'ing alts? Like the 10 lvl xp cap etc?

Q6: Are there any really active guilds on the server that accept new players? I am not to much on hopping guilds but I like to be a part of an active body of folks with good attitudes.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to answer this.

A1 : I have been running titanium since I started here 3 years ago and I won't change, it's very stable.

A2 : You can go to 98% of zones ( a very few zone are locked because they are beeing use for future project )

A3 : Bots gain level with you , and you can equip it as much as you want ( and it's recomanded to do so) they keep the gear you gave them, you will find more information in the bot section.

A4 : ?

A5 : About powerleveling, in the custom zone, a level 20 char won't be able to zone into a level 40-60 zone. but exept the custom zone you can powerlevel your char wherever you want.

A6 : there is a lot of active guild, and for every playtime

UF has better memory management if you're running multiple clients. That's the main benefit.

Q2: Can you travel through the world like in live EQ. Or must you head to everything via the starting zone?

You can head through most zones the normal way, but some are locked for future customization. And current custom zones might be level locked

Q3: Saw the bots and wondering if they spawn at your lvl or max lvl and/or must you lvl them or delete and rebuild as you gain levels?

Bots will be your current level when you spawn them, if you level while they are out you can zone or /say #bot update to update them to your current level.

Q5: Is there any level restrictions in place for PL'ing alts? Like the 10 lvl xp cap etc?

The usual EQ 2/3 of high level (roughly) apply for grouping. As for actual PL, a mage 1k ds will level you very quickly, but there might be an exp cap per mob. Haven't really tested.

Q6: Are there any really active guilds on the server that accept new players? I am not to much on hopping guilds but I like to be a part of an active body of folks with good attitudes.

Quite a few guilds active, depends on what you want to raid and how you want to do it. Can check the guild forum or even ask in game in OOC.

I know way too much random stuff.

haha I missed number 4 oops. Had always wondered if the Uf client was something I really should have for emu servers and happy to know it really isn't needed well the memory management feature would be good as I do plan to box but I have plenty of mem as is. I had planned on using Druid Ds once I lvled my initial toon but maybe I will check into the mage! thanks for the answers guys.

Q4: was actually supposed to be: At what lvl can you speak in ooc. I was trying to answer a few folks earlier and was barred from chat.

Thanks again!
