Finished Find the plans quest - no reward?

Just wondering if this quest 'find the plans' from the Vale task2 should result in a reward?

I finished the task1, and cleared task2. Both have cleared from my Quest Journal but didnt seem to get any reward, and the Odin(?sp) NPC is happy to give task1/task2 still.

Just wondering if this is normal or have I missed anything, as it was a pain to finish as I had to enter it multiple times to kill the required amount of kills. The task2 takes place in the instance of Shissar.

I completed Atrebe's request, and got the item from that (I assume the database replication on magelo is broken which is why it's not showing on achivements.)

Is there a follow-on quest from this or is it broken or is there no actual reward for finishing task2 quest?

It's a progression task line that is still being developed. Completing task 2 allows you access to task 3 which is 75% complete, I just haven't had time to get in there to fine tune it yet.

You can always repeat the tasks to collect the radiant crystals. They are going to become very useful once the progression line is finished

I liked the quests, was a bit of a change to do them. The 1st quest took me by surprise when I just took my warrior in there, those mobs have a lot of HP's for a warrior to down.

All went much quicker once I bought along some DPS. Task 2 is a real pain as it needs multiple visits to clear the task, as there are only a handful of some mobs, but I liked the side adventures (Bones/Atrebe) that are in Task 2.

What Do I do with the radiant crystals I have looted? Can I hand them into an NPC?

There is a merchant that sells some basic gear (~T3-4 quality after augs) in the vale for radiant crystals. But their main purpose will become clear with the Kunark Expansion release. They are going to be the main currency when it launches for those zones. All items/spells/AAs will be purchased with the radiant crystals.

And the rest of the zones will have 2-3 side quests as well. I enjoyed making them and thought they were fun to break up the monotonous grind with a little bit of flare =)

Total the Shissar progression tasks from the Vale will have 7 zones once they are complete. 1 and 2 are live right now, 3 and 4 are about 75% done (just need to fine tune the mini events and make the side tasks)

Thanks for the heads-up. The side-quests are a lot of fun and do break up the grind.

seriously though, i hope i didn't destroy all the crystals i got from running all my toons through the first 2 instances. i remember i had a few hundreds of them in my bag. now if these were gone...

I'm sure it wont be long until one of Vaions events DT's the entire guild, even if theyre in the Bazaar. Then maybe a zone wide DT on open zones when somebody fails to Duck/Dance/Clap when the mob requires them to
