Are Druids better healers than Shamans? It seems like with the slow, Shamans would maybe be better in net usefulness regardless?

I would say yes. While the sham has better buffs the druids main heal heals for more and they have a 3rd heal via the skin of chaos buff that the sham has no equivalent. Both get the same HoT chaotic elixir. Nether get group heals by default but there are a few clickie items to help with this.

As for slow. It's almost pointless after Lvl 70. While a handful of raid bosses and zones can be slowed post 70, the majority cannot. Besides healing the druid is known for debuffing mobs and the sham for buffing the group.

I have actually found that the majority of mobs/bosses *can* be slowed...at least through tier 6. Not all of them, and if you are used to relying on the slow you might run into a roadblock, but more often than not they seem to be slowable.

SK can solo up to T3 with some patience and their donator V.1, add a shaman and you can probably get to T5.

Assuming a donator weapon on both.
