Sleeper....LD kill

So...me and 4 of my little buddies and a clericbot are doing sleeper. We're at mostly T3 gear but I have heals coming out the ass so it's just a long ass tank and spank. So anyway...Sleeper is at 17% and BAM....my VPN drops the connection. All characters LD. Figured we were all toast since my DPS on that fight consists solely of a mage pet. no way was he going to drop Sleeper before he ate my tank. 17% left on Sleeper is still a fair chunk of HP.

Log in the rogue who got evicted for the clericbot expecting to coth the toons in and retry. Not happy. Thought I logged in too quickly...and my fears were justified when I saw Sleeper flapping his wings....it was his death throes. Haha. Only the tank died. Though the rogue needed new underwear. Somehow when I logged back in my cleric was up on the ceiling doing god knows what...everybody else was just as I left them. Mage pet....still alive and well.

Guess DI fired off and that gave my mage pet enough time to chew him up. Had plenty of time left on tank disc. Was so f'n glad I did not have to redo the fight....but now the wife is pissed because I was laughing so hard I woke up the baby.

Good stuff! Cleric bot likely landed a number of heals on tank while LD as well, probably helped keep him alive long enough. We did our first Sleeper attempt last night, though half our DPS had to go after the final warder. Attempted him with War, 2x Cleric, and beastlord. Defensive wore off at around 35% which destroyed our mana and tank fell at 28%. Pet managed to take it down another 3% before total wipe. We'll take him down soon when all our DPS is there

Couldn't spawn a cleric bot for cures though. It kept giving us the "you can't spawn a bot when you are engaged" message. I think it locks you in combat when the warders are dead or something? We were in raid format until the final warder died, then disbanded raid and started group. Wouldn't work. Even tried relogging. Oh well.

Someone had agro on something. Odd that camping everyone out and back in didn't clear it though.

The fact that 4 folks took him to 35% with tier appropriate gear (unless bst had the t8 buyable pet, but still) is nice.

Yup, bst had t8 pet out All t8 spells/bazaar gear are permitted. Warrior also has xmas sword and a couple pieces of radiant armor/ldon stuff, but other than that...

I was surprised at how far we got him. I was expecting to wipe at around 75% without our DPS being there.

Vaion may need to make him more difficult... <cough>

Had you been able to get a cleric bot, you likely would have killed him with that group. #bot cure disease > that fight.

Not sure you can use a bot in a raid. I tried it once with my normal 6 and popping a cleric bot....the bot buffed and all that....but when I engaged he poofed. So I just do it with the single group. I boot my rogue for clericbot and load all my healers because...why not. The dispel is what 4? 5? slots? If you have real bodies on the raid, you should be able to keep junk on whatever slots you dont have instas for anyway. no need for the bot. The dispell does not fire off all that frequently.

EDIT: Just was you were in a group, not a raid at that point. Ignore that then.
