Well then in normal situation knights are Superior to warriors in terms of aggro management...but not in silence situation. Sounds well balanced to me ;)

the req of donor items to progress

A recurring theme and completely valid, though I think the proper direction to look at it from, is tuning content to the lowest common denominator: Non-donors. Having a baseline is important.

Beyond that...

I don't have anything against donor items, or donating, in fact I have a few myself. But I also think that theres a "be careful what you wish for" element to them. Be well aware that having a number of them or the right combination of them will trivialize things to some degree or another depending on how far you go. If that happens, its on you, not anyone else. If that happens, the fact of the matter is that you made the choice to move into the catagory of "more powerful than this content is or should be tuned for".

It is what it is.

I want to thank everyone with the THF team for the hard job of keeping up the server as you have. Keeping the content flowing, making it interesting, and keeping a balance between non-raiders, non-donor, raiders, boxers and so on. Not every one is going to happy 100% of the time.

I have been playing on this server since 2010, I started with one lone necro, out of need because of a change in guilds, amount of constant players, I made a cleric and became main healer for raids, as time went on I ended up adding toons. Each time having to do the whole progression on each. Getting flags, epics, and all the things required to progress a toon to T8, and now T9. Having now a total of 9 toons, 5 being active now. When I started there was no DSK or HOH. A raid for us could be as little as 3 or 4 live people up to 10 live people all boxing their desired toons, which hasn't happened in a long while. We in leadership had to add classes to fill holes to be able to handle content as we went. There is no way someone is going to just happen to have an enchanter in their back pocket.

We found life happens, and as things changed people in the guild had to step up and add toons to be able to take content with just a few of us playing full time. Its great if you have a guild ( and we were there at one time but life changes for people) that has an active huge roster but on the low population of this server you do what you need to do to progress threw the content. The other consideration is there are people from all over the world playing on THF so not everyone is going to be on at the same time to raid. Boxing is a must on this server to get threw the whole content. I would hate to see content being tuned to the lowest common denominator. nor would I want to see content tuned to the highest common denominator either.

Everquest = time sinks...... This is one of my biggest grievance, I totally understand the need for time sinks but at a point they start taking away from the fun of doing said quest. IE: the 3.0 epic quests. Ive spent hours and hours mindless killing for items on the solo side of the quest. I lost track of how many hours spent getting the hearts and I still don't have even one heart. I believe there should be a little more time balance, my toon has the donor weapon so really she doesn't need to do it but I like to do all the content.
I appreciate that the points in HOH have increased it does take some of the pain out of grinding points. ( I remember the days where HOH was full of people in one common raid to get points, whole double xp weekends killing). There are some painful grinds that will drive people away from the content IE: shadow haven kill count aug. Even at 5000 kills its still very painful and tiresome and boring.

I believe if you want to donate that's is up to the person, just because you don't donate should not hold you back from doing the content at all. Once your toon is geared from the previous content you have been doing you should be able to move on to the next. But you cant just slap on gear and augs, it has to be thought out to get the best result. I have seen toons that have no donors but have more ac/hp than a person with donors. Boxing is a must on this server to see all the content, and depending on how many active people in the guild there maybe some need for donor gear. This is not like live where there was thousands of live players. You learn to adapt to any given situation. Donor items should not be lessened, there should be a big difference between game content items and donor items or there is no incentive to even want them. Remember donating keeps us with a server to play on.

Give them some love...... It was mentioned about Rangers and monks. I agree some attention needs to be given to them.

Distillers, Distillers, Distillers.... having only 2 donated items, ive had few distillers, I do remember when they were tradable and treated like plat in the game. There was rewards of distillers here and there from special holiday events which was great. I love being able to get distillers now for AA's. That is a A+ in my book thank you.

Things ive thought about that need to be more of.
Damage weapon augs, they are few and far between above Wind. After the ones you can quest in wind pretty much all are dropped from raid content. Id like to see damage augs you can quest for like in hoh maybe, that would have a little bit better damage than the ones from wind. It can be a bit hard filling all the slots on the weapons. I feel there is a bit of stagnation in how much damage you can get from a weapon. Also in the weapon slots you take a big hit on ac, most have low ac on them. Augs that cover all the slots 8, 16, 17.

Thank you again for all you at THF do for us the players. :)

Would love to get some feedback on the rare loot drops for mobs.

To me it seems the rares are just a little too rare. We have been killing Seravince for 2+ yrs now, obviously not every day or every spawn but a good number of times. We have yet to see the Earring or the Fang as a guild.

Same with Zenurix - not one aug, have at least 50 kills on him.

I know we have seen 1 of the rares on Draekon but believe that is about it.

Chaos we are probably at 5 or 6 overall.

Other guilds have seen the same issue within HoH. They used to farm the mobs for the rares and let everything else rot, while this may not be an issue for the guild instance mobs it does cause issues when it is part of the progression for HoH and one guild can potentially block (even if not on purpose) another if they have similar raid times.

So the question is do you raise the % of rare drop or change it to a Nadox type loot where there are no rares.

Or implement Worn2 loot bonuses on some gear that allows you to find rarer items at a higher %? Discuss away :)

Doable, but tricky since loot is determined at time of spawn. Would be interesting for a clicky spell; cast on NPC X and increases drop rate by %. Interesting idea...

Warning posting from iPhone as I get the pleasure of business travel this week..ugh... So may be an incomplete post also may have said this already and don't remember.

I'm up for any idea. Some of the 5% loot is just hell not knowning when and if you will ever see it.
Also no so much on the rare items. Nadox moving the Chaos armor to its own loot table away from the goodies. Much like what was done with Vistrinda and the mana clickie. It sucked killing her and getting two of those. Same goes for killing all 6 bosses and ALL of them each dropping two pieces of chaos armor that just rots.

Tactics quested spell pieces off trash at 8%... Maybe move them to 25%? The additional chance for RZ to drop a completed spell is nice(maybe always was like that?) but, with the time sink to kill all the overpowered trash mobs to get to TZ and VZ.
It would be outstanding to put a flag system in place where after so many TZ and VZ kills you could skip them all together.
