Damage shields should be fixed now, we'll have to do a new spell file as well though but I think that'll be more for the spell descriptions, mobs should take damage now.

The Damage Shield is now positive, thank you.
But its value is still +32 where it should be +115 according to the web tools and graph ? Or do my level 59 scale down this number?

On my new druid I found a few spell issues while looking through lower tier spells and comparing against pre-70 ones.

1.) Erandi's Nettle Shield was boosted to 175 damage shield but level 70 group version Circle of Nettles remained at 55.

2.) Erandi's Vengeance of the Sun (level 69) is currently applying a heal over time to mobs instead of a DOT. I only noticed this because it is on the ToV quest legs and seemed very odd.

Loving the revamp by the way! You guys are rocking it.

1) this is because we've only done the first part of the revamp (1-69). Level 70 spells are next and that mostly includes spells like this one.

2) thanks, this has been fixed server side

Oh that makes sense! Sorry for the confusion. Also thank you for the quick fix on the druid spell.

I've kept an eye out for similar things with other spells. So far, I found a few on necromancer and shaman while playing. Hopefully this isn't redundant:

1.) Greevel's Blood of Thule, Greevel's Heart Flutter, and Greevel's Corath Venom appear to have their Poison counter and dot damage swapped. The poison counter goes up by 1150, but the hit point is a +25 heal per tick for example (or 0 damage in the case of Greevel's Blood of Thule).

2.) A few spells in the poison/disease chains have decrease disease counter or poison counter instead of increase. Testing them it seems inconsequential as it still damages the mob. I was not sure if this was intentional, but since half the spells are counter increases I figure I would mention it. (examples: Greevel's Chilling Embrace, Greevel's Disease Cloud, Sham's Blood of Saryn, and then Sham's Ancient: Scourge of Nife has a massive -1000 counter sort of like an inverse Deathly Ward).

These all sound like the wrong effect was changed.

The counter was given the damage value in error. Will try to get around to fixing these soon.

I stumbled across a few more song issues while looking over bard songs. I noticed several instances where an ` appeared instead of a ' but this is a nitpick and not an issue at all.

1.) Znoth's Niv`s Harmonic decreases AC instead of increases

2.) Znoth's Melody of Preservation decreases strength instead of increases

3.) Selo`s Assonant Strane should be Selo's Assonant Strain

4.) Znoth's Chant of Flame, Znoth's Chant of Frost (both level 46 and 67 versions), Znoth's Chant of Disease, Znoth's Chant of Poison, Znoth's Chant of Ice, Znoth's Chant of Plague, Znoth's Chant of Venom, Znoth's Tuyen`s Chant of Fire, Znoth's Ancient: Chaos Chant, Znoth's Chant of Disease, Znoth's Chant of Poison are all debuffs but buff the enemy's resists instead.

5.) Znoth's Denon`s Disruptive Discord increases enemy AC by quite a large amount

6.) Znoth's Chorus of Clarity decreases the group's mana.

7.) Znoth's Denon`s Bereavement should increase the poison counter and decrease magic resist.

8.) Znoth's Harmony of Sound is missing a negative value for magic resist (-35)

9.) There are two Znoth's Chant of Frost at level 46 and 67. Seems odd. For the other resists, the name changes from Venom to Poison for example.


On a non-bard note, I found that Guardian of Earth (a ranger AC buff) was overwriting Glyph of Darkness (best necro pet buff until mid-tiers). Similarly, there are some odd things where Vallon's Quickening is overwriting True Thoughts and other enchanter haste spells that don't buff ATK even if the haste is lower (I used this from the Mithril Gauntlets Tier 2 clicky for when I don't have an enchanter). I can't tell if maybe it checks against the melee stats and says that a melee wants Vallon's or Hastening instead of True Thoughts/Insight of the Seer. But in reality, if we are stat capped and haste capped, then it is the other benefits from True Thoughts/Insight of the Seer that matter more. Just something I found odd but no longer run into now that we have two enchanters in raids.

In addition to my previous post, Shattering Fist I, II, III, and IV all increase damage taken instead of reduce for monks.

I'll try to look into all of these as soon as I can.

I believe the overwriting issue was fixed by Peterigz yesterday.
