I think this is just the nature of message boards. Logging a population of 100+ during noon hours (I don't play nights anymore, but I would guess the population gets higher) in the US definitely shows you're doing something right and people are enjoying the content. People turn to the message boards with their concerns. I would guess a small minority of the population even registers on the boards, let alone posts actively.

While I haven't gotten to kill any of them, I think the world bosses are a great idea.

Just because people post here that there is something ingame that they disagree with, it doesnt mean they are critising you or the way you or any of the other devs do something.

Show me one person who thinks you or any of the other devs here do a job here thats below exemplary standard.

Everybody on this server appreciates the hard work done by yourself, the other devs and all other members of the Emu team.

Quite the contrary. It shows that you are doing everything you can to make it a fun place to play but accept that no matter what you do there are going to be some that you simply cannot please. That's the great thing about :

"If you don't like how we run the server and what we offer to players, please feel free to player somewhere else."

If I didn't like the server I wouldn't play! Like Azb said, I post concerns of things I see, some are for the good, some not so much. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate it! I truely do.

See? There ya go Lillu, The masses (errr well a couple of us) have spoken. We like it and want to help where we can.

People criticize because they care about and enjoy your server. If they didn't, they would simply leave. For the most part you are doing a great job, but there will always be bugs and tweaks that need to be done, and you can't always please everyone.

Think about it this way. Why would you farm gear thats four levels below your raid progress? Its different, and comes from a new source.

I think once we start popping the tier 3-4 bosses for everyone, the competition on the tier 1-2 world bosses will drop off a bit, as the larger guilds will see that camping the lower level world spawns just isnt worth the time when they can be spending their time camping the higher stuff.

Sure they might kill it occasionally, but right now, for some people, its an e-peen thing. "Woo ! I camped that world boss" kinda thing. I was talking the other day, and some of the loot that was dropped from the first set was actually passed off/given to lower gearlevel players, simple because they couldnt use it.
