Hmm was the hammer no drop? if so u need to use the #bot giveitem command. and if it fits in more the one slot that u want it to go into u need to use #bot giveitem and teh slot #. You can get that from useing #bot inventory list.

I think it is safe to say you can destroy the rule book. That was a recent add to new toons made not long ago. Just something to help everyone understand the do and dont of thf i guess. trouble makers are frowned upon as we all know lol ;oP.

Glad you decided to try us out!. Hope you continue haveing loads of fun here ! :D

Ok cool, I shall do this.

What I did was move the entire directory of the old EQ and installed a new one. I put in the new spell file and ran the install.exe file. I used my EMU launcher to login. Some spells Icons appear black though. Other then that no issues.

What I felt was most difficult about starting to box multiple toons was moving them around successfully without losing one into a tree or rock, or throwing them into a perpetual game of ring around the rosie. I stick everyone to my SK and have found that if I move him in straight lines, ie. never using turn right/left or strafe, I have much better success navigating. For example, when I run around a corner I run the SK into the actual corner, let my toons catch up, turn the SK, then continue to move. I hope that makes sense!

Since you're boxing I would highly recommend getting WinEQ2 (from Lavasoft, pretty sure you can get it on CNET) as it allows you to set hotkeys for switching between instances of EQ rather than tabbing or manually clicking. It's also nice for playing in windowed mode as I prefer it over the windowed functionality within EQ.

CB was my 1-30 zone of choice as I was familiar with the layout from live and the nostalgia was great! I would suggest doing the Orcanite shield quest in CB for the clicky Druid DS (you can cast this one ON people so get it for your Cleric then buff the Pally bot since bots can't do clickies).

Don't forget to do your epics: get 3 glowing crystals (iirc) from any of the 1-30 zones, buy your class token, and turn them into the mushroom right by Queen who has the armor quests you saw. The epics are nice because they proc from level 1 and you'll keep them for a while.

Your group setup will have some good DPS with a Ranger and Rogue - if you're considering adding another toon I might recommend a Bard over a Monk. While the Monk will certainly dish out the dps, the overhaste and added AC from Bard songs is really nice. I also use my Bard to pull with paci/Fading Memories and it's great. Plus if you really really need to you can throw some mezzes or even slows. But that's my opinion, you should do what appeals to you - remember if you change your mind at 70 it'll take you almost no time to level up a different class.

You'll find that a lot of the names that come to the rescue in the forums are the same people you can nearly always count on to help out on THF. We have some really amazing people like Mystickitty and Teeth, just to name a couple, who are almost always willing to come and help out with just about anything provided they aren't raiding. I've even seen Teeth spend nearly 15 minutes soloing a world boss just to help me get revenge on him. The golden rule most definitely applies here...be good to the people on the server, and they'll be good to you.

You'll also want to sit down and talk with some of the more experienced players about some of the really fun questlines you can do, like improved charm, epics, and the aura's, as well as LDoN fun. The devs have done a great job with the server, its the only EMU around where I get that "old EQ feeling" back.

Yup, be nice and people will be nice in return and also I add in read the forums.
Two reasons I am a lot less helpful and more prone to smack people, they are rude and demand help of others or they refuse to read the forums.
