Ah ha! hehe, that does sound like his work come to think of it.

what got me laughing about the snare was i had never seen it before, and normally you wouldn't. Cause i mean, who tries to kite a raid boss? (Me apparently)...But if you try, Vaion is there to stop you!

I enjoyed my one attempt at Tallon but the climb up to him was certainly a venture!

We dug deep into our bag of tricks.

We found more dps.

We walked away in defeat after running out of time (IRL) to finish the beast we spawned.


We're coming back!


The big man himself is going down (one of these days).

Ok i'm about finished with the zone. Defeated Vallon & tallon without too many issues, but I doubt a T6 guild would manage if geared T6. Finally failed the Zek event half a dozen times before I gave up and went to sleep.

I had 9 casters using bane weps & nuking for all their worth, 2 T8 Rk1 pets with bane weps, war/pal with bane weps. Unleashed everything I had and went full burn, and he depopped at 50%. Tried again 55%, tried again .. you get the picture.

I have been told this is a timed event, but I haven't got a hope of doing that within the timer if it is. If I am doing something wrong then somebody please let me know.

The last message I get is 'Rallos Zek shouts, 'Foolish children, you will never match my strength!'

I hate failing. I hate it when Vaion wins.

Ya but there's not clearing for RZ and its been much better since the npc healing got lowered so not really that long paired to Vp/Fear

I fully agree with Beat on that aspect and RZ has a couple of very nice items we are farming as they are on par with some T8 items. 95 AC Dmg aug who can complain about that?

The brothers the loot is kinda meh when put in context of the Tier 6. When looking at everything else on the loot table compared to drops in VP/Fear they only have a slot 8 adding the 16 slot would make them much more attractive.
Stone of Vallon/Tallon awesome type 16 no complaints there at all. Ring of Vallon / Earring of Tallon also very nice and they are slot 8/16.

Maybe throw bane damage on all the other dropped weapons too? :mrgreen:

I am currently also on the stage of farming T5-T6 with my crew and recently started this zone. So far on my 15man crew, all the melees (Mnk, Rog, Brd, Bst) including my main tank (war) has 2 bane weapons as well as my 4 casters (Mag, Wiz, Ench, Nec) and their respected pets (Bst, Mag, Nec, maybe will add Shm, Dru, Sk pets as well...) has bane weapons ready. I am still finishing up my tactic spells and once done I may or may not try out Vallon and Tallon, and finally Rallos Zek.

Will see how it goes... I only done Vallon and Tallon once back in live In PoP expansion. Rallos... well all I remember is that I was covered with adds and was running around with 5 frames per second. (obviously failed attempt)

P.S. Just out of curiosity but I think it plain obvious but... Do you have to pay 500pp on each character EVERY TIME you want to attempt these bosses? I am assuming its a yes. Just asking cause I am still needing to upgrade my characters with VP armor which costs 60k pp per character (only finished 4 of them, 11 more to go... jeez).

yes, 500pp per toon per zone in. while its a bit annoying its a much needed pp sink as after VP armor quests you start to run out of things to use pp for other than buying/trading with other players.
