It essentially turns it into a nuke if you win the roll for the BP to take affect. What it does is takes the damage * number of ticks remaining. So if your DoT does 13k per tick (with focus/buffs) and has 8 ticks left then it instantly applies 104k and removes the DoT.

Launch was delayed a few days due to a couple issues noticed last minute, new anticipated date is Friday. It's coming, don't worry :)

With Vex Thal out, new quest for a key on access, and a debuff for folks who have not completed DSK... Can we now look at reducing the point requirement for DSK3 access? We can bring it down to 10k which makes it possible for newer folks to get access to the zone, and bring back some older folks who ran out of content and did not enjoy the grind for access. It would be in line with things done in live and in other games. Since DSK is no longer bleeding edge of content.. Makes sense. The debuff in VT is motivation to get into DSK and the lowering of the grind would make it much less tedious. Remember, new folks would still need to down content in there to get the debfuff reduced.

Don't know if we ever announced this also: each defeated event will drop a token which will grant you 1 step down in the debuff. So you couldn't technically become immune to the debuff without ever going to DSK3. But a fresh guild will have a hard time beating the events with the debuff in full force on them.

In addition. This is the way it all works:

Entry into Vex Thall:
1) complete the key quest
2) get a "token of vex Thal" and turn it into tunare

How to get rid of debuff:
1) compete events in DSK3
2) loot an turn in "fragment of Dreadspire" and turn into npc in Vex Thal
Oh the fun you all are going to have in DSK3...
