Hi,

In 6 month only one guild completed dsk3
Maybe one or 2 other guild will be able to do it soon.

Creating a end game T9 for 6 players boxing 108 toons is the goal? I you ask to complete dsk3 to get to Vt that 's what you gonna do.


I think that u should do 2 access quests.
1) complete dsk3 and get flag
2) basic long solo/group farming quest.

After i hope that vt won't be another zone made for programers/boxer.

First post updated slightly with more information:

5) There will be a key quest as well as a requirement to have the flag for DSK3.
6) There will be a zonewide debuff that will weaken as you gain more flags in DSK3. (Having Khasva flag will negate the debuff completely)


What exactly the debuff will do has not been completely set in stone yet, however you all can anticipate that skipping DSK3 will not be in your best interest.

Also, we are looking into the 85/15 ruling for the zone. It's something I have always personally wanted to look into, but due to the set up of our guild instances have not been able to achieve. However, we will be looking into implementing it if we can find a safe/effective way to.

Still no exact ETA, but phase one is wrapping up quickly :)

I'm suppose to be working on a paper due for my doctrine class (paper is 16 pages and I've completed 3...) and instead I decided to scribble up the mock code to allow 85/15.

One thing to note: the rule will be based off raid, not guild. So each character will have their own lockouts. If you bring someone to a raid that has a lockout you do not, then that boss will not spawn.

There is obviously still a lot to work out, but I concept designed most of the required stuff on that page :)

Is the Raid code (85/15) also applies to DT ? :mrgreen: Only part of the raid will be caught in your ugly twisted sick scripts ? And will DT code have a lockout ? After taking few of them, the code forgets about us and leaves us at peace so we can raid normally ?

No random Death Touches / Kills on trash mobs - clearing for boss 1 in Nadox lost 4 characters due to DT. Rebuffing a character when I have no ability to stop the outcome sucks for trash mobs.

Boss fights written that keeps in mind that a good majority of the server boxes (according to last poll 79% box from 2 - 12 toons)

The problem with some of the suggestions is that only through writing macros will you be able to keep your group / groups alive. If writing macros is now a requirement for fights it will leave some out. There will always be those that want to write a macro for an entire fight (look at the HoH bosses and the majority of those that were solo boxing w/ 12-18 characters) and can control with a single button or isBoxer. Others want to play only one or two characters and never touch macros. Still others use macros to some extent but don't want to have to write a macro just to defeat a boss.

Scaling damage with a minimum and maximum that checks tank AC at points -- would have to build in safeguard to having ppl removing armor to start fight then just putting back on or changing tank from lowest AC to highest AC. Would allow fights to be similar for those tanks that are at 28k AC - 120k HP to those that are 17k AC - 65k HP.

Evolving Augs that update with boss kills
Single lore augment that you either pick a + stat focus effect or cast item -- Example for necros +5% pet enhancement or 5% dot damage, War choose between % for melee mitigation or % on discipline downtime, Cleric choose between heal ability or critical heal bonus, etc.

Ability to get to bosses relatively easy once you defeat them - spending 1 hour to kill trash each time you want to kill a boss limits what guilds have time for.

Ability to CotH

An overall thought -- ability to turn in those no drop items nobody wants for something, anything (HoH points, 10 turn-ins = 1 AA point)
