I don't know how I remember this stuff so easily, but I guess it was because I played so much. I'll help you fill in a few missing pieces :)

Hoss was the name of a monk in Triune - I guess I remember him so well because of the many hours he spent with me in Howling Stones when I was trying to get from 59 to 60.

Janson was the guild leader of Reviction for many years, but I don't recall if he was the original guild leader of Reviction when they first formed. I think he was, but I'm not 100% sure.

Heroic Few and Relentless Ascension are the guilds that merged to become Fury's Edge.

Aye, I recall him being a monk. I might be wrong about him being the founder of Reviction but...

He defintiely wasn't. He wasn't leader until some time after I quit EQ, he was just a fellow warrior of mine to begin with (he then became raid leader at some point before I left).

It might not have been Hoss, but it certainly was a monk that began Reviction and I'm quite certain that he was in the Circle as well. Probably just a similar name :)

Whoa. Hi.

Knew Kuroni before EQ existed. Her and a couple of other friends got me to try it when it came out. Was on Morell-Thule. My first guild was the original Temple of Dawn with Harmonious and (the real) Darkrok. Moved to Triune with Kuroni to raid "the big stuff" like Trakanon, the original Veeshan's Peak (ohhh that place was an experience) and stuff. Was an officer for a couple of years, Kuroni was eventually too. I later went to Druzzil and joined Hoss. After six months or so, she moved and joined me there. Now we still usually wind up playing some game or another together, here more than ten years later.

Ydiss, I remember you.

As for the monk that started Reviction, I just cannot remember the name right now, but it definitely wasn't Hoss. It'll come to me.

My magelo is probably long gone, and I don't know how to link them any more anyway, but my number was 50505. Simple, so I still remember.

I started about 3 months after Velious launch. I quit when I realized I did not have the time required to keep up with the 21390732743 expansions in EQ Live.

I started EQ in August 2002 on The Seventh Hammer where I played the same character I always play, my iksar monk, Chewzok. I played casually for a couple years before joining up with the Coalition for Planar Progression which was just daily pickup raids to get people not in the high end raiding guilds flagged in PoP through to the elementals. I then joined Savage Arms and raided there for another year and a half or 2 years where i also met my wife during a fennin ro raid before i quit for a little while.

I came back and moved on over to the Saryrn server where i joined Denu of Sar and after they collapsed, I joined Shards of Time and raided through frostcrypt where i was tired of factioning and questing in order to raid and cancelled my account.

Wow, where to start. I started EQ right after Kunark with a gnome wizard named Wandor or Terris Thule. I played the gnome through the ranks eventually landing in the top guild on the server at the time Valon. We hit our peak in PoP but kept going until WoW came out and half the guild left. I ended up moving to Prexus, which eventually merged with TT anyhow. After Valon folded I mostly played my dwarven warrior Moordian with the Aussie guild Southern Armada.

This is definitely how EQ was meant to be. In a little over a week I've gotten my new warrior past my old warrior that was Time geared when that meant something.
Moordian - Warrior
Valon - Cleric
Wandorfu - Monk
Armada - Rogue

Hey, saw this thread and I just had to participate.

I've played on Live since Dec. 2000. My first toon was a Dwarf Pally, and I don't remember the name or what server. But after that, I made a Dark Elf Shadow Knight on Saryrn named Sirgoladith Darklord. I recently stopped playing on live, mainly due to financial issues, not being able to pay for it, and such. But I had some good times there. I just kinda curious how many other Saryrn folks we got here on THF.
